If you can’t find a way to feel good about the situation you’re in Dear One, stop.
Just stop.
Don’t try and fix it. Don’t try and change it. Don’t try and get out of it. Don’t do anything.
Not until you find something else to feel good about first.
Feel good, and then take action. Always in that order.
To do it the other way around is only asking for trouble.
Excellent advice Michelle! When my sons played hockey in their younger years, I managed their teams and the coaches always had a policy — the 24 hour rule. Whether player or parent…if you have a concern or a complaint, wait 24 hours until you have calmed down and then approach with the question or comment…works so much better!!
