On: Pulling yourself together

By |2013-04-04T00:16:35-04:00April 4th, 2013|English|

A piece of you is here Dear One, and a piece of you is waiting over there.  A piece of you is on the phone.  A piece of you is planning dinner.  A piece of you is getting ready for work on Monday. And a piece of you is feeling badly about all of the things that you have not yet had a chance to get to do.

We get it.  You know how to do multiple things at once (or at least try to).  It is a skill that you have been practicing for most of your life with varing degress of success.

What if today you tried something new Dear One?

What if today, instead, you practiced doing only one thing a time?

It is the fastest way we can think of that will help you to pull yourself back together again.

On: Getting it all done

You want to know how to get it all done Dear One?

One day, once choice, one moment, one step at a time, just like the rest of us.

After an eternity of searching for a better way to do it, what we’ve discovered, is that there isn’t one.

On: Creative endeavors

By |2013-04-01T23:37:08-04:00April 1st, 2013|English|

There are only 3 things that you need to remember to do when engaging in any creative endeavor Dear One:

  • Grant yourself the freedom to create, to express yourself, without limitation
  • Let go of your ideas once you express them
  • Enjoy the process of witnessing what happens as a result

Being a successful creative isn’t about producing something of value, something worthy of a high price tag, something worthy of praise.   It is about inspiring something of value. It is about starting something, sparking something, igniting something, realizing something within yourself, and inspiring/encouraging/motivating those around you to do the same.

To be creative is to be of great service Dear One.

And to do so requires honesty, trust, independence and bravery.

Are you up for it?

On: Trying

By |2013-03-30T00:29:12-04:00March 30th, 2013|English|

Don’t try so hard to do, be and have it all Dear One.

  •  Just keep choosing the things that you want over the things that you don’t want.
  • Just keep choosing the things that you like over the things that you don’t like.
  • Just keep choosing the things that make you smile over the things that don’t.
  • Just keep choosing the things that make you feel good over the things that make you feel badly.

Just keep choosing the things that make you happy over the things that don’t, and you’ll soon come to find Dear One, that one decision at a time, you can do, be and have it all.

On: Being alone

By |2013-03-28T22:34:02-04:00March 28th, 2013|English|

You’ll never know what it’s like to be completely alone Dear One.

None of us will – ever.

We are all connected, one and the same.  We simply exist on different plains of reality from one another.

And even that can not keep us apart.

  • You can choose to tell yourself a story of isolation and disconnection if you would like
  • Or you can choose to feel the connection with anyone, anything, or anyplace, anytime you would like.

The decision is entirely yours.

Of all things that you think you have to be fearful of  in this life Dear One, being alone should not be one of them – because the truth is, it’s just not possible.

On: Holding on with both hands

By |2013-03-28T00:47:39-04:00March 28th, 2013|English|

With one hand reaching out holding on to your past, and the other reaching out holding to your future, it is no wonder that you feel stretched so thin in the present Dear One.

That which is for your greatest good, is and will always be, in the present.

The tradition of joining both hands together at your heart for prayer, for meditation, for your daily practice, is meant to be a reminder to you Dear One.

Be. Here. Now.
