On: Your spending habits
What you do today matters so much more than what you did yesterday Dear One.
Your energy, your attention, your effort, your focus, your creativity, your love, will be so much better spent here, rather than there.
What you do today matters so much more than what you did yesterday Dear One.
Your energy, your attention, your effort, your focus, your creativity, your love, will be so much better spent here, rather than there.
Sometime healing does not require a new herb, potion, tonic or pill Dear One. Sometimes it does not require a new way of thinking, moving, eating, or behaving. Sometimes it does not require a new mantra, meditation, massage or treatment. Sometimes it doesn’t even require compassion, understanding, insight or forgiveness.
Sometimes Dear One, the only thing that is required to heal, is rest.
So, before you go off in search of a new answer, a new technique, a new practice, a new method, a new plan for healing your body, for healing your mind, for healing your life, why not give resting a try first and see how you feel.
Regardless of just how sticky things may get Dear One, you should know that you always have two options available to you at all times:
Remember that despite the way that things may look, you are always the one in control of determining just how stuck you allow yourself to become in any situation.
Pay attention, Dear One.
Take notice of what happens to your thoughts and your actions when you remember to remain fully present in all that you do.
Meeting the deadline, finishing the job, maintaining the relationships, finding what’s missing, fixing what’s broken, cleaning up the mess, etc. If you view all of these things as nothing more than tasks that need to be completed throughout your day, your week, your life Dear One, then that is all that they can or ever will be to you.
But the truth is that they hold the potential to be so much more than that.
The truth is that the completion of every task that you take on, big or small, important or mundane, forced or chosen, is an act of creation/creativity, and every act of creation/creativity is a sacred act.
This is your life Dear One, and these are the events in it.
You should know that you are truly missing out on something potentially amazing if all you are doing is enduring them.
We understand that identifying your wants, desires and preferences and attracting/allowing them into your experience does not always feel like an easy task Dear One.
You want things for yourself – for your family – for your friends – for strangers – for humanity – the list goes on. Maintaining an awareness of all the things that are not in your life can be exhausting.
So today, we would like you to give yourself a break and take a day off from wanting.
We would like you to instead, spend your day focused on giving.
Ask yourself what you can give to every situation you encounter today. What can you give to every person that crosses your path? What can you give to every interaction?
In every situation, look for what you can give, and give it. Plain and simple. Nothing more.
See where the path of the day takes you as a result.
You just may be surprised where you end up.
Do you want to know what you can do to pay your respects to source today Dear One, to honor spirit, prana, light, energy, God, consciousness, whatever you should choose to call it?
We’ll tell you.
Honor yourself and acknowledge your own divinity, with every choice, with every decision, with every word that you speak and action that you take.
We can think of no greater gesture that you could make.
Avoidance or Creation.
Which path are you going to choose to take today Dear One?
Are you going to make this day about doing your best to avoid that which you do not want to see, hear, feel, or experience, or about creating that which you do?
Choose wisely because these two paths extend out in opposite directions from one another, and will most definitely not lead you to the same place.
In this moment, Dear One, you have the ability to make a different choice, to have a different experience.
You can choose to love a little more and judge a little less, to forgive, to be kind, to show compassion, to stand up for yourself, to walk away, to be brave, to take a risk, to let them in, or let them go.
Now, in this moment – you can choose to be confident – you can choose to care for yourself – you can choose to impact the lives of others – you can choose to trust and try and trust and try again.
So, what’s it going to be?
With power comes great responsibility, Dear One.
But you should know that the opposite is also true.
With responsibility comes great power.
The more you take responsibility for your life—your choices, thoughts, words, actions and reactions—and accept that you are the one responsible for creating, attracting, and allowing every experience that you have, the more powerful you will be.
