Childhood is over, Dear One. You are no longer a little person living within an environment that you have seemingly no control over. You are an adult and whether you believe it or not, you are able to make decisions for yourself.

When faced with a trial that requires you to face your past, remember that whatever it is, it is no longer your current reality. You don’t have to bring it back into the present moment with you if you choose not to. Others might approach you on the subject with energy, impressions or patterns that used to exist back then. It may still be their reality.  That doesn’t mean that it has to continue to be yours.

Remember at those moments, that you can choose not to dive right back into old patterns with them. You can choose to stay right where you are, in the present moment and deal with the situation from where you now stand. Just because they are choosing to engage in old patterns, does not mean that you have to join them in this practice.

When facing the past, Dear One, anchor yourself in the present first, for that is the only place from where you can impact change.   KNOW that what you have learned and accomplished for yourself since that time, no one can take away from you, ever.

In the present, you get to decide what your past means to you. You can assign a lot of meaning to it or no meaning at all. That is completely up to you and only you.

They provide the details, Dear One, with their words, actions, choices, behaviors, and beliefs, but you are the author, you are the one writing the story.

It is up to you to decide what kind of story it will be.

• Will it be a comedy or a tragedy?
• Will you cast yourself as a victim or a victor?
• Will it take place in an abundant universe or one filled with lack?
• Will your opinions, feelings, and beliefs matter more than theirs, or less?
• Will they hold the key to your happiness, or will you hold on to that yourself?

Their words, actions,  choices, behaviors, and beliefs won’t tell you what you need to know, Dear One.  So don’t look to them for the answers

You are going to have to decide for yourself.

This is the story of your life.

No one can write it but you.

• Do more of what feels good.
• Do less of what feels bad.

• If it pleases you, pay attention to it.
• If it does not please you, give it as little of your attention as you possibly can, none if you can manage it.

• Smile, every chance you get.

That’s how it’s done.

Simple, not easy.

But totally worth the effort, we can assure you of that.

This is how you master this day, Dear One;

• Sleep when you are tired
• Eat when you are hungry
• Move when you are restless
• Cry when you are sad

And love yourself, in every way, through it all.

This is not a test, Dear One.  And it is not some puzzle to figure out either.  Challenges are not trials.

This is your life.  YOUR life, to do with as you please.

There truly are no have-to’s.

There are only choices.

And they are all yours to make.

Why are we always encouraging you to speak your truth, Dear One?

Contrary to popular belief, it is not simply because it is “the right thing to do”.

The real reason that we want you to tell the truth, Dear One, is that consequences of doing so will shift the people, events, circumstances, and outcomes around you in such a way so as to lead you to precisely the right spot where you need to be to start living it.

That’s why.

Tell the truth and don’t fear that things will change as result of doing so.

Tell the truth and get excited about the changes that will unfold as a result.

• Choose what comes in
• Choose what goes out

• Choose to hold on
• Choose to let go

• Choose what you want more of
• Choose what you want less of

• Choose what is worthy of your attention
• Choose what is not

• Choose what matters
• Choose what does not

Your choices are the breath of your life, Dear One.

They sustain you. They nourish you.  They replenish or deplete.

They determine the pace, quality and depth of the days, months and years of your life.

Like your breath Dear One, your choices are more powerful when given the benefit of your full attention.

Everyday might not present you with an obvious opportunity do something great Dear One.

But everyday will present you with a great opportunity to be present.

And today we want to strongly encourage you to take it.

Because it is only when you are fully present that any level of greatness can ever be achieved.

Sometimes, Dear one, it is just not necessary for you to understand it.

Sometimes, all that is necessary is for you to acknowledge it, accept it, decide to embrace it or let it go, and move on.

Which would you prefer?

• To live in an abundant universe filled with unlimited resources, or one filled with shortages and lack?

• To have an unlimited number of choices available to you in every situation, or only one?

• To live in a reality that is fluid, forgiving, changeable, and influenced by all those who live in it, or one that is linear, solid and unforgiving, that you are powerless to change?

Choose your answers wisely, Dear One, because once you do, you are going to have to live with them, you are going to have to live in the reality that they create as a result.
