What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?

All questions submitted will be answered and all responses will be shared as a daily blog post for the benefit of us all. No names or personally identifiable information will be included in the post.

    On: The quickest route

As you know very well from experience, Dear One, there are an unlimited number of paths that you can follow that will get you from here to there.

There is no one single “right” path that you must take to get where you are trying to go.

But there are more and less direct paths that you can follow to get you there.

Would you like to know how to get yourself on the most direct path there is?

Listen to your heart, follow your instincts, trust your intuition, act on your hunches and move forward with confidence, enthusiasm, and excitement trusting that you will find all that you need to proceed along the way.

    On: The endgame

Remember, Dear One, balance is your ultimate goal, not extremes.

The objective is not to perpetually push yourself as hard and as far as you can possibly go.

The endgame, your long game is to find / create / experience balance.

We thought you could use the reminder.

    On: Being disciplined

Discipline is a mindset, Dear One, an attitude, an approach, a guide, a commitment.

It is not a contract, a commandment, an order, a doctrine, or a law that must be followed.

Discipline is flexible, malleable, adaptable, and strong.

It is not hard, rigid, tough, and unforgiving.

Discipline is the boat on the water, Dear One, not the rope tethering you to the dock.

It is the compass pointing your way, not the points plotted out on a map

It is the sail, and not the anchor.

Practicing discipline should strengthen you, empower you, guide you, help you to feel stronger, freer, more connected and in-synch with the world around you. Not frustrate you, weaken you, and leave you feeling depleted and restricted.

If what you are practicing is not not serving you in all of these positive ways Dear One, there is a very good chance that what you are practicing is not discipline at all, but that you are just being hard on yourself, and that is not the same thing.

    On: A tall order

Trust yourself,Dear One. Trust your heart.  Always.

We know that sometimes that can be a difficult thing for you to do, especially when you feel as though you have sufficient evidence proving that doing so in the past has gotten you into trouble, has steered you in the wrong direction.

But what if we told you, that it just wasn’t true.  What if we told you that all of those experiences that you have had trusting your heart, the ones that did not work out the way that you wanted them to, the way that you thought they would, had in fact turned out exactly the way that you needed them to.

What if we told you that?

Your heart always, always, always knows, Dear One.

Trusting it will always, always, always serve you better than not trusting it ever will.

    On: Contrast

You are not better than, worse than, taller than, shorter than, smarter, slower, blonder, balder, funnier, more talented, or enlightened than anyone in any way that matters or holds any true significance, to anyone other than you, Dear One.

The contrasts that you perceive in your life everyday have true meaning and value only to you – to help you find/see clearly that which you are wanting more of in your life and that which you are wanting less of.

The more or less, has relevance only to you, Dear One,  and is in no way a true reflection of your worth, value or significance as an individual, a citizen or as a soul.

You are all of equal value, quality, significance, worth, and height in the eyes of spirit.

On: Which way should you go?

If you are looking for simple directions, Dear One, that will help you get from where you are to where you want to be, here they are:

    • Always look up more than you look down
    • Always look forward more than you look back
    • Always keep your attention focused more on where you want to be, and less on where you don’t
    • Always follow where your heart, smile, and intuition are leading you

    Now, get moving!

    On: A willingness to proceed

A willingness to proceed. Sometimes that is all that you need to muster up in yourself, Dear One.

When fear, doubt, confusion, remorse, indecision, sadness or panic even, overwhelm you and you get lost in your current set of circumstances and want nothing more than to shut down, disconnect, give up – if you do nothing more then simply remain open to the idea of continuing to move forward – then you will!

Digging in, stopping in your tracks will not heal, solve, or resolve anything. If fact, it can do the exact opposite of that. Stopping can prolong pain and suffering, confusion, remorse and loneliness.

Life’s current is constantly moving, flowing towards someplace new. If you let go and allow yourself to float for a while – no kicking, no screaming, no splashing about – simply let go and float, before you know it, you will be in a different place. The scenery will have changed and you will find that you have moved on from that place that was no longer serving you.

    On: The reality of fear

Fear exists nowhere, Dear One, except within your mind.

    • Does that make it any less real?
    • Does that make it any less powerful?
    • Does that make it any less of a limiting or destructive force in your life?

The truth is that yes, it does, if you decide that it does.

    On: How to forgive

The best way to forgive, Dear One, is with radical love.

Love yourself so much, so completely and totally, with your whole heart, with every single bit of who you are, so  that there is nothing left over to hate with.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: 8 out of 10  (but so totally worth it.)
