What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?
On: It’s all in your head
Your reality is fluid Dear One. It molds itself quite readily and precisely around the shape of your beliefs.
When we say to you that it is all in your head, we are most definitely not saying to you that it isn’t real.
Quite the contrary actually.
What we are saying in fact is that if it is in your head Dear One, it will undoubtedly be a part of your reality in the very near future.
Your mind is a powerful creator, so it is important for you to remember that it will always be in your best interest to remain mindful of what you keep in there at all times.
On: How long it takes
Take one step forward at a time Dear One, joyfully, intentionally, mindfully, feel good about where you are going, and you will be traveling faster towards your desired destination then if you ran full steam ahead towards it motivated by frustration, sadness, anger, fear or insecurity.
Mindful choices guided by good feelings are infinitely more powerful than those guided by loss, lack, obligation, fear or desperation.
It is not the amount of space between where you are and where you want to be that determines the length of your journey Dear One.
The length of your journey is determined by the distance that you must travel from where you are, to feeling good about where you want to be.
And how long that takes, is entirely up to you.
On: Absolutes
The trouble Dear One is that you think that you live in a world of absolutes. And you don’t. The world does not work that way. There are no absolutes in life – except one.
The one thing that you can always absolutely rely on is the fact that you will always have a choice. Always, always, always do you have options, in every single situation. Every one – without fail.
Whenever you feel frustrated, helpless, trapped or as if you are moving in the wrong direction – stop and remind yourself that there are choices available to you in that moment. If the thoughts that you are thinking are not bringing you joy – choose different ones. If the company that you are keeping is not pleasurable for you – change it. If you have set standards for yourself that you consistently find yourself falling short of, and feeling badly about, change them.
It can be just that simple Dear One, if you choose to allow it to be so.
On: Remaining loyal
If it didn’t make you happy yesterday, or the day before that, or the day before that, what makes you think it is going to make you happy today, or tomorrow, or the next day?
Unhappiness is much too high of a price to pay for loyalty Dear One, to a person, idea, concept, community, or belief.
On: Learning to forgive
Want to learn how Experience is the best teacher, Dear One?
Forgive yourself.
Start there.
On: A new approach to conflict resolution
What do you think would happen Dear One, if instead of digging in, tensing up, shutting down, or pinching yourself off from well-being in anger, frustration, fear, hopelessness, or self-righteousness when facing a conflict, you relaxed, trusted, let go, accepted what was, and allowed yourself to open up to it instead?
If you don’t already know the answer, you should try it and find out.
On: Confronting your past
Childhood is over Dear One. You are no longer a little person living within an environment that you have seemingly no control over. You are an adult and whether you believe it or not, you are able to make decisions for yourself.
When faced with a trial that requires you to face your past, remember that whatever it is, it is no longer your current reality. You don’t have to bring it back into the present moment with you if you choose not to. Others might approach you on the subject with energy, impressions or patterns that used to exist back then. It may still be their reality. That doesn’t mean that it has to continue to be yours. Remember at those moments, that you can choose not to dive right back into old patterns with them. You can choose to stay right where you are, in the present moment and deal with the situation from where you now stand. Just because they are choosing to engage in old patterns, does not mean that you have to join them in this practice.
When facing the past Dear One, anchor yourself in the present first, for that is the only place from where you can impact change. KNOW that what you have learned and accomplished for yourself since that time, no one can take away from you, ever.
In the present, you get to decide what your past means to you. You can assign a lot of meaning to it or no meaning at all. That is completely up to you and only you.
On: Just how powerful are you?
Just how powerful are you Dear one?
That is something that only you can decide.
On: Where to look first
Guidance, source, spirit, light, is always with you Dear One, it is always available to you.
You are a part of it and it is a part of you. It is within and around you at all times. You are swimming in it. You came from it and you will return to it.
You can choose not to acknowledge it. You can choose to resist it. You can choose to tell stories that support an illusion of disconnection from it.
But you can never be without it.
So if you are looking for it Dear One, just know that you never have to look very far.
On: A tough choice
Which is more important to you Dear One? Which do you want more?
- To protect your ego
- To pursue a greater, deeper, richer, and more heartfelt love than you have ever known before
It’s not possible for you to do both at once.
You’re going to have to choose.
