What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?

    All questions submitted will be answered and all responses will be shared as a daily blog post for the benefit of us all. No names or personally identifiable information will be included in the post.

    On: Your motivations

    Do you know what is guiding you Dear One?  Do you know what the desire is that is motivating you to make the choices that you make?

    Is it trust, love, a desire to create, connect, to be happy, to be strong, to know joy?

    Or is it a desire for security, safety, acceptance, belonging, recognition, attention, or relief?

    It is important that you know because before you can change, before you can create more of what it is that you want for yourself, you need to first be aware of what that is.  And know this; figuring out your desires, what it is that you want to create more of in your life is very different than figuring out what is it you want to avoid.

    • A desire to avoid heartbreak is not the same as wanting more love in your life.
    • A desire for less illness is not the same as wanting better health
    • A desire to avoid poverty is not the same as wanting greater wealth
    • A desire to feel less lonely is not the same as wanting more companionship
    • A desire for less stress is not the same as wanting more time, energy, contentment, or peace of mind
    • A desire for less fatigue is not the same as wanting more endurance so you can do, be, have, or accomplish all that you want.

    The steps, actions, feelings, and mindset required for you to create one are dramatically different than what is required for you to create the other.

    All of the attention in the world focused on a contrasting goal is not ever going to bring you any closer to attaining it, no matter how hard you try, how badly you want it, or how much you think you deserve it.

    So, now you know, now you aware.

    Now what?

    On: One less thing to worry about

    You are here to have an experience of being alive, Dear One.

    You can’t get it wrong.

    Just like you can’t order the wrong flavor of ice cream.  No flavor is wrong.  Each flavor is just different.

    The more you order – the more flavors you will get a chance to taste –  the more you will discover what your personal preferences are.  Some flavors you will like, some you will love, and some you will discover that you don’t like much at all.

    But with each choice Dear One, you are learning.

    As long as you keep choosing, as long as you continue to taste all that you want to taste, and allow yourself to continue to have new experiences, you can’t get it wrong.  We promise you that.

    You now officially have one less thing to worry about!

    On: Self-Talk

    • What if instead of telling yourself all that could go wrong Dear One, you told yourself all that could go right?
    • What if instead of thinking about all that you could lose, you thought about all that you could gain?
    • What if instead of questioning your heart, doubting your instincts, and dismissing your intuition, you trusted them all and followed them without reservation?

    If you don’t already know the answers to these questions Dear One, what if instead of wondering about them,  you decided to try something new today, and discover them?

    On: Restoring balance

    The single most important thing that you can do for yourself in this moment Dear One, to restore balance, is to allow balance to be restored.
    How do you do this?

    One conscious choice at a time.

    Before you take any action, always remember to ask yourself this:

    •  Will this choice, will this action, will this meal, will this drink, will this purchase, will this person, will this conversation, will this decision, bring me closer to achieving a state of balance in my life or carry me farther away from it?

    If you choose to move towards balance Dear One, consciously and intentionally, every time, it will not be long until you are once again experiencing it.

    On: You’re late!

    If you are already running late Dear One, if you are already behind schedule, rushing, hurrying, being scattered, frantic, angry, short tempered and stressed out about it, is not going to fix it, undo it, or magically make it better in any way, shape or form.

    But calming down, collecting yourself, being grounded, centered, and fully present and aware when you arrive, just might.

    A prayer is a peaceful promise to yourself Dear One – a promise to allow that which you are needing, wanting, asking for, into your life.

    A prayer is a preparation.  It is a ritual to help get you ready to receive, to help you shift into a mindset of receiving.

    That is why prayers of gratitude are the most powerful.

    This is how it works.

    Peaceful thoughts, peaceful words, peaceful actions, and peaceful beliefs lead to a peaceful day.

    So, what kind of day would you like for yourself today, Dear One?

    Whatever your answer, make sure that your thoughts, words, actions, and beliefs reflect it, and it will be so.

    On: Tomorrow

    Never stop being amazed by the reality of tomorrow, Dear One, because it is a pretty amazing reality.

    The fact that there is space that exists ahead of you – empty, blank space, full of possibility, just waiting for you to do with as you please, just waiting for you to fill it up with everything that you desire – should have you over the moon excited – every single day.

    Tomorrow is like the extra space that you leave for yourself in your suitcase when you pack for a trip.   You leave yourself the extra room because you know that you are going to find good stuff when you get there that you going to want to take home with you.

    Tomorrow is just like that.  It is the extra space ready to be filled with all of the wonderful,  unexpected treasures that you find along the way.

    But here’s the catch – you must remember to leave room for it Dear One.  You must remember to leave space for yourself when you are packing for your trip – for something new, something unexpected, something wonderful, something different to show up for you.   If you pack your bag to the top, if you plan out every last detail of your day ahead of time, if you cram your schedule full with the known, with the predictable, with the expected – you will be missing out on of the greatest treasures available to you in this lifetime.

    So this evening as you are thinking about – planning for – anticipating tomorrow Dear One – our recommendation to you is this – get excited and pack lightly.

    On: How to be a master

    Mastery is not about perfection, Dear One, or doing, being or creating something that is the best or better than anyone else.

    To achieve mastery is to achieve a state of being fully present, of being fully aware of what is happening around you and within you, and what is available to you in each and every unique moment of your life, acknowledging it, taking it in, allowing it to inspire, inform, motivate, shape, and influence your thoughts, actions and beliefs from moment to moment.

    Masters are not superior beings Dear One, they are not better people than everyone else.  They are simply more practiced at living in the now and taking advantage of all of the gifts that are available to them in the present moment.

    They don’t try to create exceptional, superior, or richer work, but being fully present, they have  a deeper, richer, more connected productive and fruitful experience of each moment, and that experience gets expressed, gets translated into all that they do.

    If you want to achieve mastery Dear One, don’t try to be better at what you do, try to be more present while you are doing it, and you will be on  your way.

    On: Giving vs. Taking

    Be generous Dear One, with your spirit, with your gifts, with your heart, in all that you do.  There is no reason for you to hold on to yourself, to hold back  – for you will never run out of you or of any of the wonderful qualities that make you, you.  In fact, the more of yourself that you give away, the quicker you will find yourself restored.  Share your gifts, share yourself.  Allow both to flow freely out into the world.

    Remember Dear One, you live in an abundant universe – where there is no lack.

    But know that there is a big difference between giving yourself away/giving of yourself and having others take from you.  You will know the difference by how it feels to you because one is restorative and energizing and the other is rather draining.

    Take notice of how your energy is flowing – from you, through you, out into the world.

    Once you become aware of and can see the difference between giving your energy willingly and having it taken from you, either aggressively or passively, it is our belief that you will at once acquire an awareness of how to protect yourself and prevent the latter from taking place.

    Once you learn to see and direct how and where you energy flows, no one or no thing will ever be able to take it from you again without your consent.
