What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?
On: Rethinking change
We know that it can feel like the act of doing something new, of changing your patterns of behavior, your thoughts, your actions, your habits, your beliefs, your relationships, will require a great deal of effort and struggle for you to achieve Dear One. But the truth is that movement, progress, change, has, does, and always will require significantly less effort from you than trying to remain in one place ever will.
As you already know very well from experience, trying to stand still in the constantly flowing river of life requires so much more effort than trusting, letting go, and allowing yourself to go with the flow.
So today, we would like you to consider the possibility Dear One, that you just may have had it backwards — that maybe, just maybe, it is your resistance to change, and not change itself, that is making the process feel so challenging for you.
On: Through our eyes
Just because there is more for you to learn, more for you to figure out, to do, try, experience and become, does not mean that you are lacking, broken, deficient or less than in any way, shape, or form.
Through our eyes, you are and always will be glorious, divine, beautiful, creative, and loved, an essential part of the whole Dear One, just as you are.
On: Avoiding pain
As hard as it might be to believe Dear One, pain is not a punishment. It is a teacher, a guide, a friend to you. Its purpose in your life is not to hurt you, harm you, discourage you, frighten you, or weaken you. Quite the contrary actually.
Pain Dear One, is a call for love, is a call for attention, it is a call for healing, growth, and expansion. Pain is a teacher with a valuable message for you and it is not something to be avoided. It is something to be acknowledged and embraced.
Run from pain and you will spend an eternity pressed up against an all too familiar wall that you are quite capable of walking around, climbing over, or breaking through.
On: Moving on
How do you move past it all once and for all Dear One?
The answer to that question is easy.
You don’t.
You move past it all one day, one choice, one moment at a time.
On: How to serve
Sometimes there is no better or more useful way to serve, to be of service, Dear One, then to take really good care of yourself; to honor yourself, to nurture yourself, to prioritize yourself, to enjoy yourself, to shine, and show them how it’s done.
On: Being self-destructive
We are not going to try and stop you from making self-destructive choices Dear One, repeating self-destructive patterns, or engaging in self-destructive relationships.
This is your life and you are free to choose to live it any way that you please.
But what we are going to do is try and help you to become more aware of the fact that you are doing so.
We want you to think about and be conscious of every single choice that you make. We want you to choose purposefully, deliberately, and with intention.
If you are making choices that are harming you, we would like for you to be fully aware of the fact that you are doing so.
This is your life Dear One, and you are free to make any choice that pleases you.
If, however, the choices that you are making are not pleasing to you, then we are going to do all that we can to encourage you to start making different ones
On: What you can do about it
Do your choices, thoughts, beliefs, and actions reflect your desires Dear One?
Do they match up?
- If you want more joy in your life, are you making choices, thinking thoughts, maintaining beliefs, and taking actions that make you feel joyful?
- If you want more freedom in your life, are you making choices, thinking thoughts, maintaining beliefs, and taking actions that make you feel free?
- If you want more love, abundance, peace, or beauty in your life, are you making choices, thinking thoughts, maintaining beliefs, and taking actions that make you feel loved, abundant, peaceful and beautiful?
So now do you see Dear One?
If what you want, is not what you’ve got, there IS something you can do about it.
On: A (not so) small favor
- You are so much stronger than you think you are
- You shine so much brighter than you think you do
- Your influence travels so much farther than you think it does
- Your love is so much more powerful, healing, and transformative then you believe it to be
- Your impact on the world is significant Dear One, each and every day
The (not so) small favor that we ask of you is this: Believe us.
Believe us when we tell you that all of these things are true, and make your choices, approach your challenges and live your life accordingly.
If you could do this one (not so) small favor for us Dear One, we can assure you that the results will have a not so small impact on you, your loved ones and the world around you.
On: Acting bravely
Making the decision to be brave, Dear One, to act bravely, is far from a risky decision.
In fact, it is probably one of the safest decisions that you can make.
Why?
Because being brave requires you to trust, and in order to trust you must connect with your heart, listen to what it has to say, and allow it to guide you.
What could be safer than that?
You want to play it safe Dear One?
Connect, trust, and take the leap.
On: The learning process
Learning is a process Dear One.
Don’t feel badly or beat yourself up about that which you did not know, or could not see yesterday. Instead feel good about and celebrate all that you do know, and all that you can see today.
Be gentle, loving, kind and forgiving of yourself as you experience, grow, and progress along your path.
Learn from your past “mistakes” instead of judging them and you will most certainly end this day smarter than when you started it. Be consistent in this practice and you will be smarter still tomorrow.
P.S.
The same holds true for those around you. So try to remember to be gentle, loving, kind and forgiving of them while they are learning too.
