    On: Fighting back

    You don’t have to fight the brewing storm Dear One, or fear it, run from it, hide from it or prepare to brace yourself against it.

    You’ve got another choice you know.

    You can simply allow it to come, and trust yourself enough to know that you are strong enough, wise enough, and resilient enough to handle it, and whatever it may bring your way.

    Because you are.

    On: Approaching a rainy day

    Fretting about “what is” is like fretting about the rain during a rainstorm.

    There is nothing you can do to stop the water the from falling from the sky, but can choose how you are going to react to it.

    You can stay inside. You can go out with an umbrella, a rain coat, rubber boots or all three. You can run around the block with nothing on and get wet or you can choose to go out in your favorite suede coat. You can dance in a puddle or take a walk with a lightening rod.

    You can’t stop the rain Dear One, but you can choose how you are going to experience it.

    Stop trying to be the person that you think the world wants you to be and just be the person that you are, Dear One.

    The reality of you is infinitely more powerful, intelligent, interesting, fun, lovable, humorous, desirable, attractive, genuine – more everything – than any illusion of you ever could be.

    On: Changing your beliefs

    You can choose to believe anything that you want Dear One.

    Unlike the color of your eyes, the size of your feet, or the distance from the tip of your nose to the top of your head, your beliefs are not assigned to you at birth, determined for you by genetics, or handed down to you by some external force in the universe.

    (Although we know that sometimes it can feel that way)

    They are a very personal choice that you make each and every day.

    And if yours are causing you to feel anything other than strong, empowered, connected, worthy, and good about yourself more often than not, please remember that it is well within your power to change them anytime you would like.

    On: Creating good health

    You try , you think about, you make every effort to watch what you eat Dear One, to exercise, to get enough sleep.

    You do all of these things for the benefit of your health, for the benefit of your body.

    And yet you still allow yourself to think, to indulge, to swim in negative, damaging, and unkind thoughts, about yourself, about others, about the world around you, all the time.

    Your thoughts have just as much of an impact on your physical body as your diet, activity level, and sleep habits do.

    Even more so actually.

    Just a little reminder Dear One, not to leave them out of the equation, when trying to create good health for yourself.

    On: Risk

    It only feels as if you are risking something by stepping out into the unknown Dear One – going somewhere that you have never gone before, trying something that you have never tried before.

    But the truth is that there is no safer place that you could possibly be than on the edge of something new, in the process of creation.

    The same energy that creates worlds, creates healing, creates art, creates music, creates poetry, creates abundance, creates cupcakes.

    What safer place could there be than standing fully present on the leading edge of yourself, on the leading edge of thought, completely engulfed in the limitless energy of creation?

    The more you open up to it, the more you trust it, the more you allow it to flow to you and through you and all around you, the safer you will be.

    Resistance is what causes risk Dear One.  Fear, hesitation and uncertainty pinch off the flow of creative energy to you.

    So what we are saying to you is that holding back, hesitation, doubt, resistance and fear are greater sources of risks in your life than trying something new ever would be, ever could be.

    Risk big Dear One.  Jump, Leap,  Soar in the unknown.   Trust us when we tell you that there is no safer place for you to be.

    On: How long does change take?

    How long does change take Dear One?

    That depends.

    • How long are you planning to continue to hold on to what is?
    • How long are you planning to continue to remain stagnant, motivated by fear, insecurity, doubt, and uncertainty?
    • How long are you planning to continue to think that experiencing well-being requires great effort?
    • How long are you planning to continue to not trust?
    • How long are you planning to continue to hold on to the idea that change is hard?

    Because whatever you believe, is what you are going to have to pay to achieve it.

    On: Allowing your heart to feel

    Allow yourself to relinquish control Dear One.

    Allow yourself to bond with your own heart.

    Allow yourself to feel its beating.  Allow yourself to feel its wanting.  Allow yourself to feel its passion.   Allow yourself to notice its subtleties – when it is happy, or glad, or giddy, when it is questioning, when it is certain, when it is emotionless, when it is filled with joy, filled with regret, filled with sadness, filled with love.

    Allow yourself to feel it all Dear One.  Allow yourself to want more for yourself than just the absence of discomfort, the absence of pain, the absence of desire.

    Please do not make it your hearts ambition to feel as little as possible Dear One.

    For that would be as great a loss as choosing to close your eyes forever after witnessing only one sunrise.
