What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?

All questions submitted will be answered and all responses will be shared as a daily blog post for the benefit of us all. No names or personally identifiable information will be included in the post.

    On: Testing your limits

Chances are, Dear One, that you are stronger than you think you are, that you are smarter than you think you are, that you are more resilient, resourceful, talented, creative, clever, useful, needed and loved than you think you are.

But unless you are willing to test your limits, unless are willing to allow yourself to move forward with confidence, to move beyond your self imposed boundaries, open to the possibility that there is more to you then you are aware of, you’ll never know for sure.

We already know what your value is. We already know what you are capable of.

Now it’s time that you know it too.

    On: A life of service

The more creative you are, Dear One, the more you trust yourself, follow your heart, and allow yourself to color outside the lines, the more you will be living a life that is of service to life itself.

    On: A lesson on bravery

Learning how to be brave, Dear One, is not about learning how to ignore your fears.  It is not about learning how to summon up the courage to push, force, or convince yourself to do something that you are afraid to do, that you don’t think you are capable of doing.

Learning how to be brave is about learning how to listen to and trust that part of yourself that knows exactly what it is that you are capable of, that knows exactly how much you can endure, that knows exactly just how powerful, clever, resilient, valuable, and strong you are, and prioritizing that voice above every other one that is telling you otherwise.

    On: You already know

There is nothing wrong with you, Dear One.  You are not broken.  You don’t need to be fixed.

You are simply not making the choices that bring you the greatest amount of joy, laughter, health, comfort, balance, peace, contentment, or connection.

You already know what they are.

You already know how you feel when you choose them.

You already know what to do.

    On: Feeling depleted

No one can take more from you, Dear One, than you willingly give to them, be it intentionally or unintentionally.

Your depletion has absolutely nothing to do with them, with their treatment of you, or their demands on you and your time, and absolutely everything to do with your treatment of you, your demands on yourself, and on your time.

If you are feeling depleted Dear One, taken advantage of, knocked around, and no longer in control of your own time and energy, look no further than the reflection in the mirror to see the face of the only one responsible for making you feel that way.

    On: Hand holding

Take notice of the hands that you are holding onto, Dear One, the connections that you choose to maintain.

Are they helping you up or holding you down?  Are they pulling you back or encouraging you forward?  Are they leading you in the direction that best serves you or in the direction that best serves them?

If you are not sure, Dear One, let go for a moment or two (or three or four if you need to) and find out.

    It’s important that you know.

On: Being wrong vs. Doing wrong

One of the most destructive things you can do to yourself, Dear One, is to do something that you believe is wrong.

Know that it will always be better for you to follow your heart, and run the risk of unintentionally being wrong, than to ignore it, and intentionally do wrong.

    On: Stepping into the unknown

It is understandable, Dear One, for you to fear change, for you to be frightened, nervous, or hesitant about the idea of moving from what is known to what is unknown.

But what if we told you that by moving forward, and embracing change, you would actually be doing the exact opposite.

What if we told you that by pursuing your passions, trusting your instincts, taking the leap, and letting change in, you would be stepping back into a very familiar place, a place that is more you than any other place could be, a place that is made up of the energy that created you, that you were born into, and have spent all of eternity in.

The truth is Dear One, that the more you trust yourself, the more you let go, the more you allow yourself to follow your heart and to change, to move from what is known to what is unknown, the more at home you will feel, the more at home you will be.

On: Turning it up a notch

Your heart does not have an off switch, Dear One.  It is always on.

It is always talking to you. It is always guiding you. It is always showing you the way.

When you can’t hear it, and all you can hear is the voice in your head, the voice of fear, insecurity, doubt, judgment, concern, guilt, lack, or despair, it is does not mean that your heart has shut down, is unavailable, or that it does not have wisdom to share with you.

It simply means that in that moment you are choosing to focus your attention elsewhere.

The voice that you give your attention to, Dear One, is the one that you will hear the loudest.

If you want to turn the volume back up on your heart, so that you can hear it loud and clear, so that it is the dominate voice within you, simply choose to give your undivided attention to it.

Do this and it won’t take long before all of the other rumblings within you become nothing more than a faint and distant murmur in the background.
