What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?
On: Reducing your suffering
If your goal is to extend your suffering, Dear One, to make it worse, add to it, expand upon it, and invite as many people as you possible can to join you in it, then by all means keep talking about it, beating yourself up about it, focusing on it, and judging yourself harshly for whatever it is that you believe that you have done or have had done to you, to bring it about.
But, if what you want is to find relief from it, heal from it, improve upon it, distance yourself from it, change it for the better, move past it, and in every way possible, get over it as quickly as you possibly can, then you’re going to want to stop doing all of those things and choose positive, loving, compassionate, hopeful and forgiving words, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors instead.
On: Wisdom
You are wise, Dear One.
Choose to remember that today, and act accordingly.
On: The price of admission
Sometimes a little turbulence can be the price of admission, Dear One.
When you begin to tread a new path, one that you have never taken before, know that the ground might feel rough, bumpy or uneven to you at first. It may continue to feel that way until you cross over it a couple of times, clear out a path, make an impression, and become familiar with your new surroundings.
Bumps in the road do not mean that you are going the wrong way. They do not mean that you have chosen incorrectly, made a wrong turn or that you need to go back. Sometimes they are just the experiences that come along with going somewhere you have never gone before.
If the road gets bumpy, when you are traveling a path that you felt guided to travel, don’t doubt Dear One, trust, get excited, because the turbulence that you are feeling may very well be the entry point into someplace new. You just may be on the verge of discovering the very thing that you have been searching for, that you have been asking for.
How do you know for sure?
You listen to your heart, you trust your instincts, you have faith in yourself and all that brought you to this point.
And then, if you should feel so inclined, you leap.
On: One and the same
There is no difference between you and them, Dear One.
You are all exactly-the-same.
It only appears as if there are differences between you because you all have evolved into phenomenal storytellers.
The stories that you tell each other and yourselves, are so good, so powerful, and so convincing that you, and they, actually perceive them as real.
But the thing is, they are not.
They are just stories.
You are all exactly the same, Dear One.
Can you imagine what your world look like if you all started treating each other that way?
On: Allowing transformation
You are not messing up, Dear One, you are letting go.
Although we can understand how you could get the two confused when you are increasingly finding yourself in unfamiliar situations, having unfamiliar experiences, with unfamiliar people, and unfamiliar emotions.
Our wish for you is that as you allow yourself to venture into the unknown that you will be brave, that you will be trusting, that you will be gentle on yourself, and that you will allow transformation to occur.
You can always choose to turn back, and resume familiar patterns, familiar behaviors, and familiar beliefs if that is what you would like.
But you already know where that path will lead you.
Before you make that choice we would like you to ask yourself, is back really where you want to go?
On: It’s not your choice
Please don’t waste any more of your time, Dear One, trying to make the right impression, trying to fit in, trying to be accepted, trying to make them see, like, or love you.
Because no matter how hard you try, no matter how much you plan, no matter how much effort you put into it, no matter how careful you are, you are never going to be able to control what they think of you.
That is not your choice to make. It is theirs and theirs alone.
On: The path of least resistance
The path of least resistance does not lead to sameness, Dear One, it leads to change.
How?
We’ll explain.
The world is constantly changing, all the time. Everything within and around you is always in a state of change. It is either growing or decaying, without exception.
In each and every moment of your life you are changing too, you are different, you are not the same person, in the same environment that you were the moment before, and therefore do not have the same perspective that you had the moment before.
So therefore while you may think that doing nothing will lead to nothing and will result in everything remaining unchanged, it is just not true. The truth, Dear One, is actually that if you do nothing, absolutely nothing but allow life to flow and yourself to flow along with it, no moment, no day, no experience in your life will ever be the same, could ever be the same, as it was the moment before.
Can you see that?
Sameness requires effort. Sameness requires action. Sameness can only happen if you choose to create it, if you choose to do, and be, and say, and think something over and over and over again in an environment of constantly changing conditions.
Can you see that?
On: A day off
If you need a day off, Dear One, take it.
On: Getting the love you want
Do you want to know how to be loved the way that you want to be loved, Dear One?
Love yourself well.
On: Improving productivity
Don’t try harder, Dear One.
Try more joyfully.
