On: An alternative approach
Don’t try so hard today, Dear One.
Take a deep breath, imagine everything working out for the best, and allow instead.
Don’t try so hard today, Dear One.
Take a deep breath, imagine everything working out for the best, and allow instead.
That wall that you’ve just run into, Dear One, that one that you keep banging your head up against, you should know, that it’s not actually a wall.
It’s a door.
And the reason that the door is there Dear One, is not to keep you out.
It’s there for you to open.
And it’s not locked.
Imagine if you can for a minute, Dear One, things exactly as you want them to be.
Imagine having everything that you want, having everything that you need, having every single thing that you desire for yourself, and then some.
Are you doing it? Are you picturing it? Are you imagining what that would look like, feel like, and be like for you to have it all?
Is the thought making you smile? Making you feel good?
Good. Keep doing that!
If you continue to insist on holding on to the belief that who you are is not enough, Dear One, that who you are is less than that which anyone else is, life will go right on proving to you that you right.
If you want to live a different life, Dear One, if you want to live the life of your dreams, you can. But you should know that it will come at a cost. Sacrifices are going to have to be made.
You are going to have to sacrifice the old vision that you have had of yourself, the old story that you have been telling about yourself, the old limitations that you have been holding onto, the old patterns that you have been maintaining, the old heartaches that you have been nursing, the old hurts that you have been hanging on to.
Will it be difficult?
It could be.
Will it be worth it?
Absolutely.
They will follow your lead, Dear One.
They will take their direction from you.
They will treat you the way that they see you treating you.
Just one more reason for you to treat yourself well.
Just one more reason for you to treat yourself with love, kindness, forgiveness, flexibility, generosity, honesty, compassion and respect.
You say you want things to be different and yet you continue to bring the same attitude, beliefs, mindset, patterns, and expectations to the table each day. How can you continue to think, feel, speak, and act the same way and expect your experience to change?
Your circumstances are not what is holding you back, Dear One.
There is a very distinct difference between abundance and excess. Dear One.
Do you know what that difference is?
Intention.
The actions taken to create both may very well be the same, but rest assured, that the outcomes generated as a result will most definitely not be.
Abundance will empower you, fuel you, lift you up, and excess will overwhelm you, drain you, and weigh you down.
So just in case you were wondering Dear One, while you are in the process of creating, yes, intention matters, a lot.
There are two ways that you can choose to respond to any situation, Dear One:
One defines you as powerless and the other as powerful.
Which are you going to choose to be today?
