On: Relieving anxiety

Unfortunately, Dear One, avoidance is not going to help you to relieve your anxiety.

Neither is confrontation, bravery, denial, will-power, brute strength, comradery, or perseverance.

The only thing that is going to do it, that is going to bring you relief for any sustainable length of time is trust, is learning how to trust yourself again.

And how, you might ask, are you suppose to do that?

The same way that you learn how to do anything else.

You practice.

In the end, the creation, the outcome, the manifestation of your thoughts, words, energy, and actions will never be more powerful, meaningful, valuable, or have as much of an impact on your life as the experiencing of creating it will.

The prize is not the outcome, Dear One, it is the journey.

And if you are not enjoying it, if you are not engaging with the path, in a way that you love, that you believe in, that means something to you along the way, then you are totally and completely missing the point.

We think that we can all agree, Dear One, that beginning your day by making commitments and taking actions that you knew would harm you, that you knew would end up generating results that you would rather not see come to pass, would be an unwise thing for you to do.

Are we right?

And yet, that is exactly what you are doing when you start your day off with negative expectations.

On: Doing vs. Feeling

On: The serious stuff

It really is okay to not take it all so seriously, Dear One – whatever it is – even the really, big, seriously important, significant, or scary stuff.

We say this to you not to disregard, disrespect, trivialize, dismiss or belittle whatever very difficult, important or challenging situation, circumstance or event you might be dealing with at the moment.

We say this to you to help you to remember that you can choose to approach it, deal with it, and move past it with ease, grace, joy, confidence and maybe even a little bit of levity, just as easily as you can with intensity, struggle, stress, drama, fear, and doubt.
