Mastery is not about perfection, Dear One, or doing, being or creating something that is the best or better than anyone else.

To achieve mastery is to achieve a state of being fully present, of being fully aware of what is happening around you and within you, and what is available to you in each and every unique moment of your life, acknowledging it, taking it in, allowing it to inspire, inform, motivate, shape, and influence your thoughts, actions and beliefs from moment to moment.

Masters are not superior beings Dear One, they are not better people than everyone else.  They are simply more practiced at living in the now and taking advantage of all of the gifts that are available to them in the present moment.

They don’t try to create exceptional, superior, or richer work, but being fully present, they have  a deeper, richer, more connected productive and fruitful experience of each moment, and that experience gets expressed, gets translated into all that they do.

If you want to achieve mastery, Dear One, don’t try to be better at what you do, try to be more present while you are doing it, and you will be on  your way.

Only an open heart can heal, Dear One.

How do you move beyond your limits, Dear One?

Recognizing that limiting thoughts, beliefs, words, and actions are just that, limiting, is a really great place to start.

Somedays you will be confident, and somedays you will be insecure. Somedays you will feel pretty and somedays you will feel plain.  Somedays you will be adored, and somedays you will be lonely.  Somedays you will be creative, and somedays you will be dull.  Somedays you will be kind, and somedays you will be cruel. Somedays you will do no wrong, and somedays you will do no right.

But know this Dear One, that in this life that is full of contradictions, full of realities that are true one minute and not true the next, one thing will never stop being true, and that is that you will never stop being powerful.

You can never stop being powerful.  It is who and what you are.

Now you can choose to use your power to create things that you want in this life, or you can choose to use your power to create things that you despise, or fear, or secretly think that you deserve.   But either way Dear One, no matter what, you can never stop being powerful, you can never give your power away, or run out of it, or lose it, or have it taken from you, ever.

You can be tricked into thinking it is gone, you can trick yourself into thinking it is gone too. But regardless of how you feel, what you have been told, or what you believe, you will still be powerful, you will still have the power that creates worlds running through you, at your fingertips, at all times, to do with as you please.  You will still be the one with the pen in your hand, writing your story, creating your world, with every thought that you think, word that you speak,  action that you take, and belief that you hold in your heart.

Going back is not an option, Dear One, and standing still will get you nowhere.

So, it looks like your options really are limited after all.

Please don’t waste any more of your time, Dear One, trying to make the right impression, trying to fit in, trying to be accepted, trying to make them see, like, or love you.

Because no matter how hard you try, no matter how much you plan, no matter how much effort you put into it, no matter how careful you are, you are never going to be able to control what they think of you.

That is not your choice to make.  It is theirs and theirs alone.

While you are making progress along your path, Dear One, making your way along your journey, which do you think is more important? The answers that you find or the questions that you ask along the way?

Have you ever noticed that your best, most impactful, most significant and meaningful moments, the ones that have influenced and taught you the most, were not had as a result of finding an answer?

All of those moments and experiences were actually found in your pursuit of an answer to a question.

Does that make sense?

Take a minute and ask yourself, what is the question that you have asked yourself that you are currently in pursuit of an answer to?

If you don’t know, take some time and think about it.  Figure it out.  Because once you do, it is going to greatly impact your perspective of the path that you are now currently on.

What we are trying to tell you Dear One, what we are trying to say is that you don’t need to put your time, energy, and attention into searching out better answers to help you make sense of your life.

What you want to do is to shift your focus and your attention away from a pursuit of answers, and begin to allow life, experience, the world and people around you to motivate you, to teach you, to inspire you to ask better questions.

We are not going to try to encourage you, convince you or teach you how to achieve the impossible, Dear One.   That would be a waste of our time and yours.  By definition, the impossible cannot be done.   We would never encourage you to pursue that which you are convinced you can not do.

Instead, we are going to encourage you to dream bigger and focus your attention on that which you believe is possible, on those things that you believe can be accomplished.

Set out in pursuit of those things, and accomplish them.

Feel that satisfaction that comes along with completing a task, with accomplishing a goal.  And then, when you have sufficiently built up your confidence, when you are feeling good about your self and your abilities, we want you to revisit, re-examine those things that once seemed impossible to you and see if your perception of them has changed at all.

If it has – Wonderful!  You will then be ready to take them on.  And if it has not, then we would like you to go back and repeat the process.

Remember, Dear One, something is only impossible when you believe it is.  Therefore everything is impossible and nothing is impossible. And the best part is – you get to choose which is true for you.

So, what’s it going to be today?

Why choose to doubt yourself, punish yourself, be hard on yourself, judge yourself, or skimp on yourself, Dear One, when you can choose to comfort yourself, forgive yourself, have confidence in yourself,  be generous with yourself, and love yourself instead?

The more creative you are, Dear One, the more you trust yourself, follow your heart, and allow yourself to color outside the lines, the more you will be living a life that is of service to life itself.
