On: The price of admission

Sometimes a little turbulence can be the price of admission, Dear One.

When you begin to tread a new path, one that you have never taken before, know that the ground might feel rough, bumpy or uneven to you at first.  It may continue to feel that way until you cross over it a couple of times, clear out a path, make an impression, and become familiar with your new surroundings.

Bumps in the road do not mean that you are going the wrong way.  They do not mean that you have chosen incorrectly, made a wrong turn or that you need to go back.   Sometimes they are just the experiences that come along with going somewhere you have never gone before.

If the road gets bumpy, when you are traveling a path that you felt guided to travel, don’t doubt, Dear One, trust, get excited, because the turbulence that you are feeling may very well be the entry point into someplace new.  You just may be on the verge of discovering the very thing that you have been searching for, that you have been asking for.

How do you know for sure?

You listen to your heart, you trust your instincts, you have faith in yourself and all that brought you to this point.

And then, if you should feel so inclined, you leap.

On: An infusion

Bring ease to all that you do today, Dear One.
– to all that you say
– to all that you write.
– to all that you feel, think, embrace, contemplate, and create

Bring ease to it all. Breathe ease into it all.
– to your work
– to your relationships
– to your care of yourself

Bring ease instead of fear, anger, doubt, uncertainty, frustration, or anything else that may arise as you move through your day that you don’t want more of infused into your life.

Bring ease to it all, Dear One.

And then watch as see what happens.
Watch and see how it transforms.

On: Your marching orders

Make feeling good the order of the day today, Dear One.

And make all of your decisions accordingly.

If, for some reason, from where you are now, moving towards feeling good feels like too much of a stretch, then make  feeling better your goal instead.

But in either case remember, that the direction that you move in will be the direction that you choose, with your thoughts, words, actions, and beliefs.

On: Unfamiliar territory

Finding yourself in unfamiliar territory is actually a good thing, Dear One.

It means that things are moving, shifting, changing, evolving.

Instead of getting distressed about it, questioning it,  and exerting your time and energy trying to figure out how to get yourself back out of it, give yourself a minute to adjust, look around and explore this new space, because chances are that when you do, you will discover that you are standing exactly where you need and want to be.

On: Honor

There is no honor, Dear One, in remaining loyal to that which is hurting you – truly.  Be it a person, an idea, a set of circumstances, a set of beliefs – anything.

We don’t want to see you honoring unhealthy, abusive or painful commitments out of some sense of loyalty, or some sense of community or to maintain a dynamic that is familiar to you.

We want you to know that we will never see honor in remaining in a bad situation – not in the name of spirit/god/divinity – not because of a promise that you made – not because of a goal that you set for yourself – not in the name of love – regardless of how strongly you once believed in it.

NOW is the only time that matters.  NOW is the only moment that really counts. By letting go of unhealthy commitments that are causing you pain, you are freeing up your energy for more worthy pursuits – that will serve not only you, but the greatest good of all.

The universe wants you happy and smiling and content and grateful and joyful and creative.  And anything that stands in the way of you having or being all of these things is something that you can and should let go of.

Honor THAT.  Make THAT the new commitment that you will hold on to –  and remain loyal to –  and never let go of.  And let all of the others fall away.

On: Regaining your balance

If you feel as if you have lost your balance, Dear One, if you feel as if you are having trouble getting both of your feet planted firmly on the ground, the single most important thing that you can do for yourself in this moment,  is to find it again.

How can you do that?

By asking yourself the following before every step that you take, and answering it honestly:

Will this choice, will this action, will this conversation, will this program, will this meal, will this purchase, will this person, will this decision, bring me closer to achieving a state of balance in my life or carry me farther away from it?

That’s how.

On: Being overwhelmed

Regardless of how scared you are, Dear One, how out of control, lost or chaotic you feel, how far off course you think you have traveled, you are and will always only ever be one choice, one breath, one thought away from your center.

Always.

On: The greater good

Do you want to serve the greater good today, Dear One?

Do you want your thoughts, words, actions and deeds to serve the best interests of yourself and those around you?

Then do what makes you happy.

Make choices that make you feel better, that make you feel more open, grounded and connected to your source in each moment, and you will be doing exactly that.

On: The endgame

Remember, Dear One, balance is your ultimate goal, not extremes.

The objective is not to perpetually push yourself as hard, and as far, and as fast as you can possibly go.

The endgame, your long game is to find / create / experience balance.
