Be still.

  • Become aware of your breathing
  • Become aware of your thoughts
  • Become aware of where you are
  • Become aware of your body; how you are holding it right now
  • Become aware of your heartbeat
  • Become aware of how you are feeling
  • Become aware of what it is you want from this moment, and the next

Now that you are aware, what is it that you were about to do next?

On: Choosing your words wisely

What are you going to choose to talk about today, Dear One?

  • The things that you love or the things that you hate?
  • The things that you have or the things that you don’t?
  • The things that make you feel strong or the things that make you feel weak?
  • The parts of you that are hurting or the parts that are healing?

The story that you tell is the story that you create.

So, what words are you going to use in the telling of your story today?

What are you going to choose to create for yourself, for those around you, and for the world today?

On: The pushing and shoving

When push comes to shove, Dear One, when everyone around you seems to be doing a lot of pushing and shoving, trying to keep up, trying to get ahead, trying to win, here is what you should do to make sure that they do not get the jump on you:

Step aside.

  • Do not push
  • Do not shove

Let those pushing, push along without you.

Let those shoving, shove right by.

Believe us when we tell you that you do NOT want to go where they are going.

On: What you can and cannot control

You cannot control your feelings, Dear One.

But you can choose to think a different thought and change them.

Some may call this a denial of what is.

But we would call it getting yourself into a better feeling place so that you can more effectively deal with what is.

There is no rule anywhere, Dear One, that says that you have to feel badly when dealing with a difficult situation.

On: Choosing a new priority

Choosing balance/alignment as your new top priority, Dear One, would change everything.

  • Your relationships with people
  • Your relationship with work
  • Your relationship with food
  • Your relationship with time
  • Your relationship with your body, yourself, your health, everything.

If you do this, if you make this one choice, everything will change.

And so today we say to you, Dear One; Do it!  &  Let it!

On: Knowing if you are on the right track

How do you know if you are in the flow, Dear One, if you are on the right path for you, if you are going after the right things for you, in the right way for you?

Here is one simple way to know for sure.

  • If you are enjoying your pursuit of it, you are on the right track.
  • If you are pursuing it in hopes of finding enjoyment at the end, chances are, you are not.

That is how you know.

  •  Now is the only place you can heal.
  •  Now is the only place you can grow.
  •  Now is the only place you can create.
  •  Now is the only place you can laugh.
  •  Now is the only place you can feel pleasure.
  •  Now is the only place you can have an intimate connection with someone.
  •  Now is the only place that you can fully enjoy the experience of being you, of being alive.

That’s why.

On: Are you f#@%ing up?

No, Dear One, you are not f#@%ing up.

You are simply choosing; to want this and not that, to allow this and not that, to create this and not that.

And all of these choices are not necessarily going to be well received by those around you.  They are not necessarily going to feel good to those around you. They are not necessarily going to create balance and wellbeing for those around you.  And they may even cause those around you to lash out as a consequence.

But you are not choosing for THEIR greatest good, Dear One.  You are choosing for your own.
(and don’t forget that they are doing the same.)

And today we want you to do more of it, not less.

  • Choose for YOUR peace of mind
  • Choose for YOUR alignment
  • Choose for YOUR wellbeing
  • Choose for YOUR joy, pleasure, and amusement.

And KNOW that if everyone around you does not embrace your choices, and a little bit (or a lot) of chaos ensues as a result, that you have our word that even in the midst of this chaos, you are most definitely NOT f#@%ing up.

Keep choosing you.

On: Your exhaustion

They are not the reason you are exhausted, Dear One.

You are.  You are exhausting yourself by trying to please them, by choosing to prioritize them and their needs above your own.

They are not the ones doing this to you.  You are doing this all by yourself, to yourself.

And you can choose to stop doing it anytime that you would like.
