On: Restoring balance

The single most important thing that you can do for yourself in this moment to restore balance, Dear One, is to allow balance to be restored.

How do you do that?

One conscious decision at a time.

Before you take any action, always ask yourself this:

  •  Will this choice, will this behavior, will this meal, will this drink, will this purchase, will this person, will this conversation, will this decision, bring me closer to achieving a state of balance in my life or carry me farther away from it?

If you want to restore balance, Dear One, if that is truly your goal, do this and it will not be long until you are once again experiencing it.

On: Slowing down

It is OK to move quickly through the paces of your life, Dear One – but know that it is not necessary.  No great benefit will come to you from rushing.  You will experience no faster advancement along your path.

The only thing that rushing will accomplish is for you to feel hurried in your experiences.  If you like the feeling/the experience of begin hurried, then by all means, you can continue on at this pace.  But, if you would like a more savory experience of your life, slow down.  You will not miss out on anything by doing so.  We promise you that.  But you do run the risk of missing out on much, when you rush.

On: The learning curve

When you are learning to do something new, Dear One, either by choice or by necessity, you always have options available to you for how you are going to proceed:

  • You can choose to resist and proceed with frustration, resentment, impatience, and regret for the task at hand
  • You can choose to allow, and proceed with excitement, curiosity, hope, and an open mind as you approach the challenge before you

You can choose to focus on the work, effort and energy that will be required of you, or you can choose to focus on the many new doors that will open for you a result.

Just a little reminder today to pay attention to which direction are you leaning as you are making your way around the bends.

On: The wrong fit

If you are feeling tight, restricted, tense, frustrated, boxed in, or cut off, Dear One, it is very likely that it is because you are living a life that is entirely too small for you.

The remedy to this malady is a simple one:

  • Remember that there is no limit to what is possible for you, no box you must fit in to, no plan you must adhere to, no path you must follow.
  • Take a deep breath.  Expand your lungs. Unclench your fists hands.  Widen your eyes. Open your mind.  Open you heart.  And trust, believe what we are telling you is true.
  • And then dream bigger, and allow your world to expand.

On: Consciously moving on

Once you choose to engage in a relationship with someone, Dear One, once you choose to invest your energy, in any capacity, it is invested, and it will stay invested until you choose to consciously take it back again.

Simply walking away, ignoring, dissing or dismissing someone is not going to be enough to sever your connection with them.

If you are wondering why it is that so often feel as if you are being pulled in this direction and that direction, tugged this way and that way, when all you are trying to do is focus on the task that is in front of you, this is why.

Your energy will continue to interact with theirs, Dear One, whether or not you are actively engaging in the relationship, until you consciously choose to disengage, until you consciously choose to take it back, until you consciously choose to move on once and for all, and not a moment before.

On: The dark

To never enter the dark room, to never walk through the darkness with your eyes open, is to miss out on half of the experience of being alive.

If you don’t like something the way that it is, Dear One, just let it be.

That’s right. You heard us correctly.

Don’t try to fix it, fight it, change it, improve it, or make it better in any way.

Simply let it be, exactly as it is, and shift your attention, energy, and efforts towards that which is wanted instead.

Doing so will be a much more efficient, effective, and empowering use of your time.
