What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?

All questions submitted will be answered and all responses will be shared as a daily blog post for the benefit of us all. No names or personally identifiable information will be included in the post.

    On: What went wrong?

So many of you keep asking us and yourselves “What went wrong?”

When things don’t go according to plan, when things don’t turn out as expected, when things don’t go as desired, as you hoped they would, as you wanted them to, as you needed them to, the first thing you very often ask when the dust begins to settle is “What did I do wrong?”

And we can tell you Dear One.  We have the answer to that question.

Here it is:  You did absolutely nothing wrong.

How do we know?  How can we say for sure?

Because there is no such thing as right or wrong. Right or wrong are judgments.  There is only connection or disconnection, allowing or resistance, living your life with an open heart or a closed one.

    That is all.

So the next time that things go awry, in a very small inconsequential way, or in a very large and significant way, instead asking yourself “What did I do wrong?”, trying asking yourself this: Did I choose connection or disconnection? Did I choose allowing or resistance? Did I choose with an open heart or a closed one?

Do that Dear One, and what you will end up with will not be a list of judgements against yourself, a list of your faults, mistakes, bad decisions, or weakness.  But you will end up with is a list of insightful, useful, positive, hopeful and actionable solutions instead.

    On: Choosing mediocrity

You are the only one that can choose mediocrity for yourself, Dear One.

You are the only one that can choose to settle for less than you want, less than you deserve.

If you want better, you’ve got to choose better.

    On: Being patient vs. waiting

Being patient and waiting are two very different things, Dear One.

Patience is an act of allowing, of knowing, of creating, of quiet anticipation.  It is fluid, changing, and constantly in motion.  It is a powerful, empowering, and confident choice that requires your active, conscious participation throughout.

Waiting is a passive act.  It is stagnant.  It lacks action, energy, movement, and active participation.   It can be frustrating, stressful, and emotionally unpredictable.  It is an inert, submissive, and unempowered choice that does not require much of you once the decision to wait has been made.

So when you are in a spot Dear One, where you think that what happens next is totally and completely out of your hands, think again.

You’ve still got one more choice to make.

And a pretty important one at that.

    On: Another reason to smile

If you are not already doing so, Dear One, take a minute and smile, right now.

If you can’t come up with a reason why you should, smile anyway, until you can think of one.

    Why?

Because it’s the best and quickest way for you to  begin to attract more reasons to you.

    On: Are you feeling it?

We are all connected, Dear One; you, we, us, them, source, air, light, water, earth, everything, all of it, all the time.

We are all a part of the same magnificent whole.

You can choose to tell yourself a story of isolation, separation and disconnection if you would like.

Or, you can choose to tell yourself a different story and feel the connection, with anyone, anything, everything, anywhere, anyplace, anytime you would like.

It’s totally and completely up to you.

So, what’s it going to be?

    Are you feeling it?

    On: How to feel better

Do you want to start feeling better, Dear One, right now?

If so, then follow these 3 simple steps:

    1. Choose a better feeling thought
    2. And then another
    3. And another

*Repeat, as often as is necessary, until desired results are achieved.

    On: Being better

Today, right now, in this moment Dear One, you are as good as you are ever going to get.

You can never, you will never, be any better than you are right now.

    How can that be?

Learning, growing, creating, becoming wiser, stronger, and acquiring new knowledge and experiences makes you smarter, more creative, wiser, fitter, more knowledgeable and experienced, it does not make you better.

Who you are right now, exactly as you are, is absolutely perfect in the eyes of spirit.

Just because there is more for you to learn, figure out, do, and become, does not mean that you are lacking, broken or deficient in any way, shape or form.

So cut yourself a little slack today, okay?

    On: Never vs. Not Yet

There is no such thing as impossible, Dear One. There are only those things that you have not yet seen come to pass.

There is a huge difference between never and not yet.

Practice saying “not yet” instead of “never” and everything changes.

    Never closes doors.

Not yet blows them wide open.

    On: Where you belong

Do you want to know where you belong, Dear One?

You belong in a place that makes you happy.  You belong with people that you love and that love you.  You belong wherever it is that you feel strong, supported, powerful, and creative.  You belong where you feel encouraged, inspired, and energized, hopeful, courageous, accepted and safe.

That is where you belong, Dear One.

If, when you look around you, you find that you are not in a place like this, then perhaps it is time for you to acknowledge that where you are, might not be the right place for you.

On: The gift that keeps on giving

Before you take even one more step forward, Dear One, forgive yourself; for whatever it is that you did yesterday that you regret, that you wish you had not done, that you wish you had done better, that you wish you could take back, change, erase or undo.

Forgive yourself – no questions asked, without judgment, without condition, without threat of punishment or fear of condemnation.

    Just forgive yourself.

    Give yourself this gift today.

    You deserve it.

And those around you deserve it too.

All of your  thoughts, words, actions, and connections will be all the more powerful, genuine, authentic and meaningful Dear One, when you are fully present in the here and now, when you are no longer holding yourself hostage in your past.
