What do you want to know about your soul’s agenda?

All questions submitted will be answered and all responses will be shared as a daily blog post for the benefit of us all. No names or personally identifiable information will be included in the post.

    On: The path to freedom

If you want to know what freedom feels like, Dear One, if you want to know what it feels like to be free, to fly — you’ve got to be willing to jump.

    There is no other way.

    On: Tomorrow

Wonder. Wonder. Wonder. Wonder. Wonder. Wonder.

You can wonder “What will happen if…..” from now until forever.  But you’ll never know for sure until you try.

    What are you waiting for?

    On: What went wrong?

So many of you keep asking us and yourselves “What went wrong?”

When things don’t go according to plan, when things don’t turn out as expected, when things don’t go as desired, as you hoped they would, as you wanted them to, as you needed them to, the first thing you very often ask when the dust begins to settle is “What did I do wrong?”

And we can tell you, Dear One.  We have the answer to that question.

Here it is:  You did absolutely nothing wrong.

How do we know?  How can we say for sure?

Because there is no such thing as right or wrong. Right or wrong are judgments.  There is only connection or disconnection, allowing or resistance, living your life with an open heart or a closed one.

    That is all.

So the next time that things go awry, in a very small inconsequential way, or in a very large and significant way, instead asking yourself “What did I do wrong?”, trying asking yourself this:

    • Did I choose connection or disconnection?
    • Did I choose allowing or resistance?
    • Did I choose with an open heart or a closed one?

Do that, Dear One, and what you will end up with will not be a list of judgements against yourself, a list of your faults, mistakes, bad decisions, or weakness.  But you will end up with a list of useful, hopeful and actionable insights instead.

On: What to do when you reach the edge

You know that you have reached your edge, Dear One, when the place that you are standing feels new, foreign, or unfamiliar to you (and maybe even just a little bit scary).

When you get there, when you reach that place, that edge, there are a number of choices available to you.  You can…..

    • Stop and turn around
    • Rest yourself comfortably upon it
    • Slowly inch yourself over it
    • Confidently walk through it
    • Break it down with thunderous applause

There is no right answer, only a choice to be made.  And the choice of course, is entirely yours.

But we are here to tell you that thunderous applause is a whole lot more fun then advancing with quite confidence – Although both are preferential to standing still or moving backwards.

Do it your way, Dear One, not anyone else’s.

Don’t look around to others for answers or for acceptable protocols or codes of behavior for how you should proceed.  Because the truth is that you are never going to find any that will ever serve you better than the ones that you create for yourself.

On: It’s all in the telling

You are the teller of the story of your life, Dear One.  You are the one who decides what kind of story it will be.

You choose (where) YOU want the emphasis to be p-l-a-c-e-d in the telling of it.

    • Do you want to emphasize the parts that you like or the parts that you don’t?  All that you have, or all that you lack?
    • Do you want to tell a story about your strengths or your weaknesses?  About those things that you love, or those things that you hate?
    • Do you want to bring attention to all that you are proud of or those things that you regret most of all?  To the parts of yourself that are hurting or the parts that are healing?
    • Do you want to emphasize your triumphs, your successes, and your victories?  Those moments that you were brave, that you summoned courage that you didn’t think you had? Or those moments that paralyzed you, that paralyze you still, where you gave into fear, resignation or defeat?

What’s it going to be, Dear One?

What story are you going to choose to tell yourself, and all those around you, today?

    On: Testing your limits

Chances are, Dear One, that you are stronger than you think you are, that you are smarter than you think you are, that you are more resilient, resourceful, talented, creative, clever, useful, needed and loved than you think you are.

But unless you are willing to test your limits, unless are willing to allow yourself to move forward with confidence, to move beyond your self imposed boundaries, open to the possibility that there is more to you then you are aware of, you’ll never know for sure.

We already know what your value is. We already know what you are capable of.

Now it’s time that you know it too.

On: Seeing beauty in the dark

A dark, cloudy day holds just as much potential for you to witness something beautiful Dear One, as a bright, sunny one does.

You have just conditioned yourself to look for it more in one than in the other.

The trick to overcoming this is simple.

Believe us, and start looking for it in both.

Once you do, once you discover for yourself that what we are telling you is true, your experience of darkness will never be the same again.
