On: No more pretending
The time for pretending to be weak, timid, incapable, powerless, unworthy or anything less than you really are, is long over, Dear One.
The time for pretending to be weak, timid, incapable, powerless, unworthy or anything less than you really are, is long over, Dear One.
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do, Dear One, is to let go.
Whenever you get the desire to quit, Dear One, to throw in the towel, and give up before the end, ask yourself why it is that you want to do so, before you take any action.
Quit or don’t quit Dear One. That is your choice. It is not our place to tell you what to do.
But whatever you decide, we just want to make sure that you are aware of your reasons for doing it before you do.
There is nothing wrong with you that time can not heal, Dear One, if only you would stop chasing down healing as if were some goal to be reached.
Health/healing is a part of your journey and not a destination in itself.
It would be like trying to get to fun. Fun is not some place to get to and hold on to forever. Fun is an experience – a gift in the moment.
Think of health the same way.
You can’t get to fun and stay there forever. Just like you can not get to health and stay there forever. It is just not the way it works. You see, you can make every moment fun though. But it can’t be stored up.
Fun is a gift in the moment – as is health. So lighten up and learn to play. Everything that you desire is available to you in the present moment – fun, health, love, change, prosperity – all of it.
Choose it in the moment and it is yours forever – if you choose it over and over and over again that is.
We want to make this as simple for you as we possibly can, Dear One.
Forgiveness has absolutely, positively, nothing whatsoever to do with them.
It is simply the act of releasing your connection to something that no longer serves you, releasing your bond with something that you no longer want to remain connected to.
It is letting go of the rope, removing your hand from the hot stove, exiting the burning building.
Being patient and waiting are two VERY different things, Dear One.
Patience is an act of allowing, of knowing, of creating, of quiet anticipation. It is fluid, changing, and constantly in motion. It is a powerful, empowering, and confident choice that requires your active, conscious participation throughout.
Waiting is a passive act. It is stagnant. It lacks action, energy, movement, and active participation. It can be frustrating, stressful, and emotionally unpredictable. It is an inert, submissive, and unempowered choice that does not require much of you once the decision to wait has been made.
So when you are in a spot, Dear One, where you think that what happens next is totally and completely out of your hands, think again.
You’ve still got one more choice to make.
And a pretty important one at that.
We already know that you CAN do all of these things, Dear One.
That is not the question that we are asking you.
What we really want to know is, WILL you?
You have no obligation to anyone, Dear one that that will ever be more important than your obligation to yourself.
No one can take more from you, Dear One, than you willingly give to them, be it intentionally or unintentionally.
Your depletion has absolutely nothing to do with them, with their treatment of you, or their demands on you and your time, and absolutely everything to do with your treatment of you, your demands on yourself, and on your time.
If you are feeling depleted, Dear One, taken advantage of, knocked around, and no longer in control of your own time and energy, look no further than the reflection in the mirror to see the face of the only one responsible for your feeling that way.
Do you know what the universal force is that dictates the experiences, people, and relationships that you are and are not meant to have in your life?
You are it!
If it didn’t happen, if you didn’t choose it, then it was not meant to be. It’s just that simple.
So don’t worry, regret or fret over that which was not, Dear One.
Instead enjoy, give your attention to, celebrate that which was, that which is, instead.
And if you should find yourself in the all too common situation where you have made a choice that you are not enjoying – accept it, learn from it, and choose again.
