On: Lessening their burden
If you really want to be useful Dear One, if you really want to be a good friend, don’t reach out and help them to carry their burden when they are in need.
Help them to put it down instead.
If you really want to be useful Dear One, if you really want to be a good friend, don’t reach out and help them to carry their burden when they are in need.
Help them to put it down instead.
Do you want to know how to get unstuck, Dear One?
Move.
Make a choice.
Take an action.
Move.
Physically, emotionally, spiritually.
Doesn’t matter where you start. Pick your point of least, not greatest resistance and start there.
Move one and you will be creating room, opening up space for movement to occur across them all.
Are you starting to get the idea?
Direct your energy consciously Dear One, and it will go where you send it.
You will always pretty much know in what direction it is headed, and it is unlikely that you will ever be completely surprised when it gets there.
(Excited? Yes! Pleased? Absolutely! Overjoyed? Of course! But totally surprised? Probably not.)
But stop paying attention, and hand the reigns over to your unconscious self and let it do the driving, and you can pretty much guarantee that you will always be surprised by where your energy ends up.
If that destination is a good surprise for you, fantastic! That means that your unconscious self is serving you well.
However if the destination is not a good surprise, if you are finding yourself on the receiving end of something that you did not request, that is not desired in any way, shape or form, well then you’ve got some work to do.
But you’ve also got a very useful piece of information in your hands Dear One; a confirmation that you are not paying as close attention as you could be to how you are directing and flowing your energy.
And unlike an unwelcome surprise that has already found its way to your doorstep, that is something that you absolutely can do something about.
Sometimes trying harder is not the answer, Dear One.
Sometimes taking a break is.
Trust yourself enough to know if this is one of those times.
How do you know for sure?
Ask your heart. It will tell you.
This is your life Dear One.
What you do with it is totally and completely up to you.
How you respond to the events in it is totally and completely up to you.
How you react to the people in it is totally and completely up to you.
Not them Dear One.
You.
Just you.
You are not doing this alone, Dear One.
We are right here with you every step of the way.
Guiding you. Helping you. Hearing you. Loving you. Cheering you on.
Every minute of every day.
Don’t you forget it.
Regardless of what you may think, regardless of what you may feel, you are most definitely not doing this alone.
[NOTE TO SELF]
If your body is telling you that it needs some time off Dear One, take it.
Trust us when we tell you that you will be so much better off choosing to do so now while the choice is still yours to make.
Today, Dear One, don’t make it your priority to try and do your best for them, for their benefit.
Today, we want you to act, and speak, and choose on your own behalf; to do what is going to serve you best, to do what is going to restore and maintain your own balance.
You are not feeling lost, Dear One, because you don’t know your way.
You are feeling lost, because you are trying to get home by following a map to someone else’s house.
Why struggle, when you can trust, Dear One?
Why pretend when you can be yourself?
Why fight when you can accomplish so much more by allowing?
Why be hard on yourself, when you can choose to be loving, caring, nurturing, and supportive of yourself instead?
You can’t stop all hurts from ever reaching you Dear One, but you can stop making them worse for yourself when they do.
