On: What would we do?

If we were you Dear One, we would not think about, talk about, or give any of our energy or attention to any of the things around us that displeased us, frustrated us, angered us, upset us, caused us discomfort, pain, distress, or pissed us off.

We would instead choose to focus all of our attention on those things that pleased us, that felt good to us, that brought us joy, pleasure, and happiness, that inspired us, motivated us, and helped us to feel loved, useful, connected and grateful.

We are not suggesting you turn a blind eye to all of your problems, and all the problems in the world around you. We are simply suggesting that you consider the possibility that choosing to focus on their solutions instead would perhaps be a more pleasant and productive use of your time.

You can choose to focus your attention on that which makes you feel badly if you want to Dear One, but you should know that that would not be the choice that we would make if we were you.

On: A win-win scenario

Act courageously today Dear One.

Do something that you have been afraid to do. Say something that you have been afraid to say. Decide not to let the fear of rejection, embarrassment, or failure stop you.

And at the end of the day, regardless of the outcome, celebrate the fact that you did it.

On: The future

Your choices, your decisions, your actions in the present moment are creating your future Dear One.

In what direction do you want to go with your life?  What future are you trying to create for yourself?

  • Is it one filled with work that frustrates you?
  • Is it one filled with insecurity and uncertainly in your relationships?
  • Is it one filled with anger, lack and fear?
  • Is it one filled with balance and awareness?
  • Is it one filled with health and stamina?
  • Is it one filled with joy, meaning, contentment and happiness?

It is your happiness on the line.  It is your body.  It is your time.

Choose wisely Dear One.  Your future depends on it.

On: Handling it all on your own

Yes, you are strong Dear One, and you do not need to pretend not to be to ask for help, or support, or for someone to lend a hand, or just keep you company.

Just because you can handle it all on your own doesn’t mean that you have to.

If you don’t feel like doing it alone, exercise that strength of yours Dear One, and ask for what you want, just because.

On: Two ways of getting there

You can trust or you can try Dear One.

  • When you trust you are making a choice to allow the unlimited power of the universe to do some (or even most) of the heavy lifting for you.
  • When you try, without trusting, you are making a choice to rely on yourself and the limited capacity of your physical reality to do what needs to be done.

Both will work. Both require effort and action. Both will serve you in getting you to where you want to go.

The biggest difference between the two Dear One, is the amount of effort and action that you will have to exert in the process.

On: The wise choice

Do you want to know how you can be sure that you are always making the wise choice Dear One?

  • The wise choice is never going to be the angry choice.
  • The wise choice is never going to be the desperate choice.
  • The wise is never going to be the fearful, insecure, jealous, vengeful, or spiteful choice.
  • And it is most definitely not ever going to be the malicious, resigned, manipulative, or controlling choice either.

So, if you are trying to figure out what the wise choice is Dear One, and the choice you are about to make comes close to resembling any of the above, know that you have not found it yet.

On: The fastest route

Do you want to know the fastest way to get from where you are to where you want to be Dear One?

Slow down. Don’t rush, stress, or be hurried in your actions.

Practice patience.

The more focused and centered you are, the more clarity you have, the more intentional and confident your actions are, the better you will feel, the more effective you will be.

On: What’s the right thing to do?

The right thing to do cannot be determined by thinking it through Dear One, no matter how much time you dedicate to the task.  Thought will always be limited by experience.

And the right thing to do is rarely the logical choice.  As we are sure that you have learned first hand by now, logic can be grossly deceptive.

If you want to know how to figure out what the right thing for you to do is Dear One, we’ll tell you.

The right thing for you to do, is always going to be, whatever it is that your heart is telling you to do.

So save yourself a lot of  time, energy, and frustration, and just trust it.

On: Believing is seeing
