On: Getting home again
Remember, Dear One, regardless of how scared, chaotic, lost, or out of control you feel, that your center, your home, is only one slow, deep breath away.
And we are there.
Always.
Remember, Dear One, regardless of how scared, chaotic, lost, or out of control you feel, that your center, your home, is only one slow, deep breath away.
And we are there.
Always.
Bring ease to all that you do today, Dear One.
– to all that you say
– to all that you write.
– to all that you feel, think, embrace, contemplate, and create
Bring ease to it all. Breathe ease into it all.
– to your work
– to your relationships
– to your care of yourself
Bring ease instead of fear, anger, doubt, uncertainty, frustration, or anything else that may arise as you move through your day that you don’t want more of infused into your life.
Bring ease to it all, Dear One.
And then watch as see what happens.
Watch and see how it transforms.
^^
Until you come to see and truly grasp the immeasurable value of your own significance, Dear One, all of your ideas, actions, and words are going to feel insignificant to you, are going to feel as if they are not enough, are going to leave you feeling as if you are not enough, or are coming up short.
BUT, as soon as you come to see and understand fully the value, the significance, the treasure that is you, THEN, and only then, will you be able to see the great value and significance in every – single – thing that you do.
Not now, not then, not ever, Dear One, will you ever be in a position where your options, your choices, your possibilities, are controlled, dictated or determined by anyone other than yourself, at least not without your permission.
Please try to remember that the next time you look around and find yourself feeling as though your options are limited.
So, you don’t know the answer. Now what?
Relish in the fact that you don’t know the answer, Dear One.
Because it is actually a really good thing.
It means that you are not acting from a place of habit, that you are awake, and that your decision will not be determined by an automatic habitual behavior or pattern.
And this is a very good thing, A great thing actually.
Next time this happens to you, try not to sweat it, and try not to “think” about what the answer should be. Try not to turn back to your logical brain to see what habit dictates the answer should be.
And most importantly, trust that there is a very good reason that your logical, habitual brain did not automatically reply, and is asking you to look elsewhere for the answer, is giving you the opportunity to give your heart a chance to be heard.

Fear is a powerful attractor.
It serves to concentrate, focus, fixate all of your energy on a single idea, object, scenario or outcome, bringing you into vibrational alignment with it, and therefore inviting it into your reality.
The same can be said about faith, Dear One.
Allow yourself to relinquish control, Dear One.
Allow yourself to bond with your own heart.
Allow yourself to feel its beating. Allow yourself to feel its wanting. Allow yourself to feel its passion. Allow yourself to notice its subtleties – when it is happy, or glad, or giddy, when it is questioning, when it is certain, when it is emotionless, when it is filled with joy, filled with regret, filled with sadness, filled with love.
Allow yourself to feel it all, Dear One. Allow yourself to want more for yourself than just the absence of discomfort, the absence of pain, the absence of desire.
Please do not make it your hearts ambition to feel as little as possible, Dear One.
For that would be as great a loss as choosing to close your eyes forever after witnessing only one sunrise.
When what you want is not what is showing up for you, Dear One, a simple realignment may be all that you need.
How do you know if this is the case?
Ask yourself if your actions, thoughts, and beliefs are aligned with your desires.
And remember:
The trouble, Dear One is that you think that you live in a world of absolutes. And you don’t. The world does not work that way. There are no absolutes in life – except one.
The one thing that you can always absolutely rely on is the fact that you will always have a choice. Always, always, always do you have options, in every single situation. Every one – without fail.
Whenever you feel frustrated, helpless, trapped or as if you are moving in the wrong direction – stop and remind yourself that there are choices available to you in that moment. If the thoughts that you are thinking are not bringing you joy – choose different ones. If the company that you are keeping is not pleasurable for you – change it. If you have set standards for yourself that you consistently find yourself falling short of, and feeling badly about, change them.
It can be that simple, Dear One, if you choose to allow it to be.
Do you want to know where you should start, Dear One?
Start by getting happy.
And if getting happy feels like to big of a step for you, then start with a thought that makes you smile.
But before you take one more step, before you make one more decision, before you move forward in any direction, do something, anything, big or small, that brings joy to your heart and puts a smile on your face.
Any action taken from a place of joy, a place of hope, a place that feels good to you, will always yield you far better and more productive results than any taken from a place of fear, frustration, distrust, hesitance, obligation, anger, concern, guilt, stress, sadness or grief.
So, when in doubt, Dear One, when you are unsure of what it is that you need to do next, remember finding a reason to smile is a great place to begin.
