On: Planning your future
There can be no brighter future ahead, Dear One, if you don’t allow more light into your present.
The very best thing that you can do to create a better tomorrow for yourself is to find something to be happy about today.
There can be no brighter future ahead, Dear One, if you don’t allow more light into your present.
The very best thing that you can do to create a better tomorrow for yourself is to find something to be happy about today.
First, know this Dear One; they don’t see how you look.
The only thing that they “see” when they look at you is how you feel about how you look.
That is what they are reacting to, that is what they are (or are not) attracted to.
It is not your looks but your presence that radiates out for all to see.
Clothes are static, but how they make you feel in them is most definitely not.
So if you want to look your best today, Dear One, get dressed for you, eat right for you, exercise for you, get enough rest, for you, smile for you.
Are you getting the idea?
^^
You can choose to trust, Dear One, or you can choose to try.
Both will work. Both will serve you. Both will move you in the direction that you want to go.
The biggest difference between the two, Dear One, is the amount of energy that you will have to exert to get there.
You can spend your whole life following the rules invented by others for themselves, Dear One, or you can do what you are meant to be doing – which is writing your own rules.
Today, which feels like a better fit for you?
Their rules or yours?
Why struggle, when you can allow, Dear One?
Why pretend when you can be truthful?
Why fight when you can accomplish so much more by connecting?
Why be hard on yourself, when you can choose to be loving, caring, nurturing, and supportive of yourself instead?
You can’t stop all hurts from ever reaching you Dear One, but you can stop making them worse for yourself when they do.
You and you alone are responsible for your experience on this journey, Dear One.
Do you get it?
If we were you, if we were the ones standing in your shoes in this physical reality, we would spend as little time as we possibly could indulging in opportunities that inspired us to feel inferior, offended, disappointed, discouraged, let down, powerless, angry, or unworthy, and instead spend our time indulging in opportunities that encouraged us to feel powerful, worthy, loved, motivated, optimistic, connected, compassionate, generous, joyful, happy, centered, and at ease, as often as we possibly could.
But that’s just us.
What are you going to choose to do?
The (not so) small favor that we ask of you is this: Believe us.
Believe us when we tell you that all of these things are true, and make your choices, approach your challenges and live your life accordingly.
If you could do this one (not so) small favor for us, Dear One, we can assure you that the results will have a not so small impact on you, your loved ones and the world around you.
Do you want to know what your mission is in this life, Dear One?
We’ll tell you.
It is to create, experience, share, and allow as much love, joy, laughter, compassion, contentment, connection, and gratitude as you possibly can.
Why?
Because when you are experiencing these things, it means that you are in alignment with your source, with your higher-self, with who you really are.
So now that you know, are you ready to accept it?
Never mind how you felt, Dear One.
How do you want to feel?
Let that be your new starting point.
Need help prioritizing?
This should help, Dear One:
Be true to you. Be true to your heart.
