If you want things to be different Dear One, you’re going to have to start choosing differently; different thoughts, different words, different beliefs, different actions.
There really is no other way.
Are you ready?
Toughing it out, pushing through, trying harder, sacrificing more, working smarter, powering on, or fighting the good fight will never be a more efficient or effective approach for helping you to get there, for helping you to achieve your goals Dear One, as getting happy will.
The only thing that makes their path more significant than yours, their contributions more valuable than yours, their successes more important than yours, their accomplishments more meaningful than yours Dear One, is you deeming it so.
Nothing more.
Trust us Dear One, they won’t stop loving you if you say “No” when you need to.
We know it can be tough to do when you so very much want to help, when you so very much want what’s best for them.
When someone that you love is telling you that they are in need, that they are hurting, scared, or confused, their attention is going to be mostly focused on themselves; on their discomfort and pain, on figuring out how they can relieve it as quickly as is possible, which is completely understandable.
But here’s what they are not telling you; they still want what’s best for you too.

If you come across an opportunity to be kind today Dear One, take it.
If you come across an opportunity to be gracious, take it.
If you come across any opportunity in your day to be compassionate, generous, forgiving, loving, supportive, encouraging, or strong Dear One, we implore you to please take it.
Why?
Because it is the very best way we can think of to demonstrate to you just what a powerful creator you really are.
Sometimes Dear one, it is not necessary of you to understand it.
Sometimes, it is just necessary for you to acknowledge it, accept it, let it go, and move on.
If you are going to tell yourself a story Dear One, about all of the things that could happen, about all of the possible outcomes, about anything that has not yet come to pass, why not make it a good one?
Why trouble yourself so much with should-haves, would-haves and could-haves Dear One, when you know very well that in the present moment, anything is possible?
But just in case you had forgotten, it would be our great pleasure to remind you that what you didn’t do then, is and always will be of so much less significance than what you are going to do now.
They are not the reason you are exhausted Dear One.
You are. You are exhausting yourself by trying to please them, by choosing to prioritize them and their needs above your own.
They are not the ones to blame here. You are doing this all by yourself.
And you can choose to stop doing it anytime that you would like.
