On: Timing
Your life will change the moment that you do Dear One.
And not a moment before.
Your life will change the moment that you do Dear One.
And not a moment before.
Listen to what they have to have to say Dear One, ask for their advice, guidance, support and perspective, consider their point of view — if you think it will help.
But in the end, the experience of it will be yours and yours alone; seen by your eyes, sensed by your skin, touched by your lips, felt by your heart.
In the end, it is not about what they want for you Dear One, it’s about what you want for you – and you are the only one that can decide that.
Contrary to popular opinion Dear One, action is not necessarily the best remedy for overcoming fear.
We would never ask that of you or encourage you to do so.
Why?
Because you know as well as we do that your beliefs create your reality.
So if not through action Dear One, then how do we recommend that you overcome your fears?
By changing your beliefs.
And that change can be as simple as moving from a mindset of “ I can’t” to one of “I can”.
And then once you have done so, once you have changed what you believe, then you can practice it, then you can prove it to yourself through action.
The next time you are feeling lonely, alone or disconnected Dear One, instead of feeling badly about it, instead of focusing on those feelings, which will only serve to exacerbate them, use them as an opportunity to grant yourself permission to take some time to go within.
When you do, you just may get a glimpse at the eternity, the universe, the divinity that lives within you, that connects you to everyone and every other living thing in your world.
And once you see that, it will be difficult for you to ever to feel lonely, alone or disconnected again.
Just how powerful are you Dear one?
That is something only you can decide.
Being patient and waiting are two very different things Dear One.
Patience is an act of allowing, of knowing, of creating, of quiet anticipation. It is fluid, changing, and constantly in motion. It is a powerful, empowering, and confident choice that requires your active, conscious participation throughout.
Waiting is a passive act. It is stagnant. It lacks action, energy, movement, and active participation. It can be frustrating, stressful, and emotionally unpredictable. It is an inert, submissive, and unempowered choice that does not require much of you once the decision to wait has been made.
So when you are in a spot Dear One, where you think that what happens next is totally and completely out of your hands, think again.
You’ve still got one more choice to make.
And a pretty important one at that.
The sting caused by the illusion of rejection is a small price to pay for the gift of clarity Dear One.
And you should know that gratitude serves as a great balm for the pain.
When your behaviors are no longer serving you Dear One, when they stop yielding the desired results, when your actions are no longer in alignment with your thoughts, feelings,
and desires – don’t start doubting yourself, your choices, your abilities, or your judgment. Don’t get angry, frustrated, or hopeless. Don’t start looking for something or someone to blame.
Instead, try remembering that life is constantly changing, and so are you.
If the beliefs, routines, rituals, patterns and behaviors that brought you comfort, security, health, relief and joy yesterday, do not do so today – simply change them.
Chances are Dear One, that you are stronger than you think you are, that you are smarter than you think you are, that you are more resilient, resourceful, talented, creative, clever, useful, needed and loved than you think you are.
But unless you are willing to test your limits, unless are willing to allow yourself to move forward with confidence, to move beyond your self imposed boundaries, open to the possibility that there is more to you then you are aware of, you’ll never know for sure.
We already know what your value is. We already know what you are capable of.
It’s time that you knew it too.
Take a chance today Dear One, and find out.
Take your attention off of that which you do not want for yourself Dear One – immediately.
Stop thinking about it. Stop focusing on. Stop trying to avoid it. Stop trying to figure out how it came to be and why you are so invested in it. Just stop.
Focus instead on that which you want, on that which feels good to you, on that which excites you, brings you hope, inspiration, relief, laughter, excitement, anticipation, and joy.
Why?
Because it feels better to do so – and right now we need you feeling better Dear One.
