On: A sticky situation

By |2018-07-30T22:12:57-04:00July 30th, 2018|English|

Regardless of just how sticky things may get Dear One, you should know that you always have two options available to you at all times:

  • Create more of what is by focusing your attention on it
  • Create less of what is by focusing your attention elsewhere

Remember that despite the way that things may look, you are always the one in control of determining just how stuck you allow yourself to become in any situation.

On: Weathering the storm

Raging, fearing, criticizing or whining about what is Dear One, is about as useful as shaking your fist at the rain during a rainstorm is.

No matter how much effort you exert, no matter how much you wish it wasn’t so, no matter how unjust you think it might be, there is really nothing that you can do to stop the water from falling from the sky.

But what you can do is choose how you are going to react to it.

You can stay inside if you want to. You can go outside with an umbrella, a rain coat, rubber boots, or all three. You can run around the block without your clothes on, or you can choose to go out in your favorite suede coat. You can dance in a puddle or take a walk with a lightening rod.

You can’t stop the rain Dear One, but you can choose how you are going to experience it.

On: Why make the effort

By |2018-07-29T00:02:16-04:00July 29th, 2018|English|

Why bother doing all that you can Dear One, when you can get by doing just enough?

Why bother doing the right the thing when no one really seems to care or to even be paying attention?

Why bother trusting, and making the harder, braver, more challenging choice when you’ve got something to lose?

Why bother putting in the extra effort to be thoughtful, generous, loving, persistent, patient, forgiving, and kind when it is not requested, required or expected?

Because what you put out is what you get back.

That’s why.

On: The need to understand

By |2018-07-27T22:51:38-04:00July 27th, 2018|English|

Sometimes Dear one, it is just not necessary for you to understand it.

Sometimes, all that is necessary is for you to acknowledge it, accept it, and decide to embrace it or let it go and move on.

On: Them

The only time that what they say, what they think, and what they believe matters Dear One, is when you decide that it does.

On: Your responsibility

By |2018-07-25T23:59:27-04:00July 25th, 2018|English|

It is not your responsibility to teach them, Dear One.

It is your responsibility to find your voice and use it.

And if others should hear your words and be motivated by them, learn from them, be inspired by them, or take-action as a result of them, then so be it.

On: Protecting your heart

By |2018-07-24T22:58:10-04:00July 24th, 2018|English|

The best way to take care of your heart Dear One, to strengthen it, and protect it, is to open it, trust it, and use it, as often as you possibly can.

Closing it off, shutting it down, or trying to shelter it from unwanted feelings will only serve to weaken it in the end, cutting you off from your source, leaving you far more vulnerable to hurt, deception, and negativity, than you would be otherwise.

So the next time you are in a situation where you feel like your heart needs protecting, remember, there is only one thing that you need to do; open it wider.

On: Hard work

How hard you work does not determine the quality of your life Dear One.

How much joy you feel as you move through the actions of your day does.

Remember that as you head back to work today, and everyday after.

On: Universal priorities

By |2018-07-21T23:19:01-04:00July 21st, 2018|English|

The universe is taking its lead from you, Dear One.

The moment that you decide that your health, your well-being, your piece of mind, and your happiness, are your top priorities – it will prioritize them too.
