Memories are not necessarily a true reflection of the events of your past, Dear One.  They are more like a picture/a snap shot created in your mind to support a current feeling about an event from your past.

Memories can be beautiful, but they can be damaging as well.  Especially when you assign more value or truth to them then you do the present moment.

You can learn from your memories, but be wary of them as well.  It is the present moment, the now, that has the greatest influence on how you remember something.   Keep this in mind when you attach meaning to an event from long ago.  When you do, more often that not, is it simply a  way of putting a current feeling into a familiar context.

Be wary of giving too much energy to your memories Dear One, as your recollection of them are really much more about the present then you would think.
