New York Trip

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Duo Reges: constructio interrete.

  • Sin dicit obscurari quaedam nec apparere, quia valde parva sint, nos quoque concedimus;

Quid censes in Latino fore? Deque his rebus satis multa in nostris de re publica libris sunt dicta a Laelio. An vero, inquit, quisquam potest probare, quod perceptfum, quod. Praeteritis, inquit, gaudeo.

On: Something different

By |2023-06-06T22:04:13-04:00September 11th, 2013|English, Uncategorized|

The Soul’s Agenda is now multilingual!

Thanks to the very generous efforts of one of our regular readers, our daily blog posts are now being translated into Spanish.

The new Spanish site will not be a direct mirror of the English.  The posts will all come from the current site, but we are going to be starting over from the beginning and posting one new update a week, for now.

You can visit the new site @ www.spanish.thesoulsagenda.com or from the new language link on the upper right hand side of this page.

Please feel free to share, pass along, or post the URL however and wherever you should feel moved to do so.

Just a little something different, a new door to walk through.

Looking forward to seeing where this one leads us all.

All my best,

Michelle

On: I love you

By |2023-06-06T22:04:14-04:00January 23rd, 2013|English, Uncategorized|

It is with my heart filled with love and pride that I introduce you all today to someone very special to me, my beautiful Niece Rebecca.

She loves like no one else I’ve ever known.  From the time she was small she had a gift for saying “I love you” with her whole heart, with her whole spirit, with her whole self.  Every time she spoke those words to me, which I am so grateful was often, I never had any doubt in my mind that she meant them.  When she said I love you, I knew I was someone special, because she believed I was.

This beautiful young woman was taken away from us this week by a man with a gun. And over the next few days all of us that had the great pleasure of knowing her, and loving her, and receiving the gift of love from her in return, will gather together to say goodbye to her physical presence in our lives.

There will be no anger in my heart, there will be no confusion, there will be no revenge, there will be no questioning present in me when I embrace her mother, her sisters, her grandmother, and her friends.  There will only be love, and pride and joy in my heart as I sit with them, and share with them, and remember with them all of the wonderful experiences we have all had the pleasure of sharing with Rebecca over the years – how she made us all feel worthy of her love by loving us so generously, as only she could.

In honor of my Dear Sweet Niece, I ask you to please do me this favor; tell someone today that you love them, with your whole heart wide open, without reservation, without hesitation, without limits, without boundaries, with a smile on your face and in your heart.  Tell them in such a way so that they know that you meant it, so they have no doubt in their minds that they are someone special, someone deserving, someone worthy of being loved.

Rebecca did that for me..  The love that she had for me and expressed to me so generously and so frequently, helped me to learn how to see it and feel it and honor it myself. And by her example, I am learning how to love as openly as she did.

It was love that gave me the courage to take chances in my life, to take risks, to believe in myself and in my gifts and to believe that my gifts were worthy of sharing.

My hope is that today, inspired by her example, you will do the same for someone else.

Today, all the love in my heart is hers.

Rebecca – I love you,

Aunt Michelle

I will try to post if I am able to over the next few days.  If I do not, know that I will resume daily postings when I return from my travels.

Be well Dear Ones.  Take care of each other.

On: Perfection

By |2016-04-21T04:09:21-04:00June 25th, 2012|English, Uncategorized|

No one, and we mean absolutely no one is perfect Dear One.  And yet – at the same time, you are all absolutely perfect.

This is not just another one of life’s contradictions that you are meant to accept and move on.  It is simply an answer from two different vantage points.

From your physical perspective, when you align your thoughts with your physical self, perfection is not possible.  People can deceive themselves with an illusion and think that it is attainable, but we can assure you that it is not. Preferences are real Dear One, perfection does not exist.

BUT when you choose to align yourself with your spiritual identity, with your spiritual self, then yes, you are perfect – all of you – each and everyone one of you is a perfect soul, a glorious spark of the divine, a piece of all that is.

You are both physical and spiritual at once Dear One. Don’t try so hard to keep these parts of yourself separated from one another.  Open yourself up so that you can see/share/experience both realities simultaneously – your spiritual perfection and your physical imperfections.  You are spectacular any way you look at it.

Allow both of these identities to come into focus at once and live your life authentically, auspiciously and fully awake.

Embrace both your spiritual and physical self at once and you will see a new world emerge before you eyes, boundaries will shift and limitations will disappear.

On: Waiting

By |2023-06-06T22:04:17-04:00June 18th, 2012|English, Uncategorized|

Stop waiting for all of the right answers. Stop waiting to be certain. Stop waiting for road signs to show you the way. Stop waiting for circumstances to force you into action. Stop waiting for someone to agree with you or approve of you, or encourage you before you take a step, make a change or take a risk, to follow your heart. Stop waiting for permission to live your life. Stop wasting your time waiting Dear One.

The time for pretending to be timid, incapable, unworthy or anything less than you really are is long over. It’s your life Dear One. You are meant to be enjoying it. There are no rules to follow. There are no right answers. You can’t get it wrong. The only person you need permission from to start living the life that you want is you.

Is the wait over?

On: Trying

By |2016-04-21T04:09:21-04:00June 17th, 2012|English, Uncategorized|

  • Don’t try to paint a picture – just paint.
  • Don’t try to fall in love – just love.
  • Don’t try to be creative – just create.

Don’t try so hard Dear One.  It really is just not necessary.  Yes, effort, even great effort may be required of you in certain circumstances and situations – But it need not be a struggle.  Don’t mistake effort for struggle.  They are two vastly different things.

Allow.  Let go and let your intuition guide you.  Trust yourself more than you do, because you hold within you the wisdom of the ages and all of the answers to all of the questions that you could ever possibly ask.   But if believing that is too much of a leap for you to take on today, then simply start by respecting the wisdom of you.

On: What is

By |2016-04-19T03:32:09-04:00June 15th, 2012|Uncategorized|

Fretting about “what is” is like fretting about the rain during a rainstorm.

There is nothing you can do to stop the water the from falling from the sky but can choose how you are going to react to it.

You can stay inside. You can go out with an umbrella, a rain coat, rubber boots or all three. You can run around the block with nothing on and get wet or you can choose to go out in your favorite suede coat. You can dance in a puddle or take a walk with a lightening rod.

You can’t stop the rain Dear One, but you can choose how you are going to experience it.
